The concept of bear wanting to alter his wish instead of canceling it infuriated me so bad. Then he has the audacity to hang up on the real Nikki calling. He was so selfish in the worst way possible. If anything, this movie proves how people will always side with the man in the end. He acknowledged it so many times in the movie that the wish made her do the things she did but nooooo I’m a little insecure man who can’t confess his feelings. I’m so angry about this movie rn🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

on my second viewing of obsession, i had the realization that nikki’s story at the party wasn’t the movie using incest as an easy shorthand for making the audience uncomfortable or creating a general “things are off” vibe but was another way the real nikki was crying out—a metaphor for the fact that nikki, like gretel, is being made to fuck her “little brother” (bear) under duress, at the behest of an external magic (the witch’s spell in her story; obviously, bear’s wish)

The scene where she was talking to bear when he was in the car and you can see real nikki come in I was actually scared. This movie is definitely one of my top movies this whole year by far.

Bro after watching tadc ep 9 and going on Tik tok im actually so irritated. I hate transfem Jax it’s not real I swear. The way I saw it when Ribbit gave him the bow I thought he was blushing bc that was a very vulnerable moment for Jax to open up. I thought we were gonna learn more about scratch but no gooseworx had to make it centered around Jax. Maybe I’m just stupid but I did not enjoy ep 9.😭😭
