My mental health has not been doing do good especially with my personal experiences with Danganronpa and the fandom

It has been a hectic journey and I love you all for appreciating my analyses so much

But now I think it would be best for me to just take a break

How my toxic relationships will ruin Komahina in my fanfics

DISCLAIMER: NO KOMAHINA ISN'T PERFECT, THAT'S OBVIOUS

BUT IT IS CERTAINLY HEALTHY DESPITE BEING IN A KILLING GAME AND A REALLY TOXIC ENVIRONMENT

AND THE FACT THAT THEY ARE LITERALLY EACHOTHER'S ULTIMATE SERENITIES AT THE START OF SDR2,

(HAJIME CONSTANTLY CALLING NAGITO HIS SAVIOUR AND THANKING HIM WHILE NAGITO LITERALLY CALLS HIM ULTIMATE SERENITY),

HAJIME SAYS HE DOESN'T TRUST OR SHOULDN'T CARE ABOUT NAGITO AND YET IS ALWAYS THE FIRST ONE TO LOOK FOR HIM WHENEVER HE IS IN DANGER,

NAGITO STILL HAD FEELINGS FOR HAJIME DESPITE KNOWING HE IS THE LITERAL MASTERMIND OF THE KILLING GAME AND WHILE HE HATES HIM FOR GOOD REASON, HE STILL CARES AND HELPS HAJIME,

NAGITO IS CONSTANTLY HELPING HAJIME DURING THE TRIALS AND IDOLIZES HIM THE MOST AND COMPLIMENTS HIM WHEN HE DOES ANYTHING AT ALL,

REALLY MAKES ME PERSONALLY BELIEVE IT IS AMAZING DESPITE EVERYTHING THAT'S AGAINST THEM

Basically, I thought a relationship has to be toxic otherwise it isn't realistic I kinda feel bad because all I've experienced and my friends have experienced are toxic relationships

And yet Komahina, the ship I am writing about, has one of the healthiest relationships I have ever seen It's just a bit hard since my perception of relationships have kinda been messed with

So sometimes I have the urge to make the relationship toxic when it isn't just to make it "realistic"

Like I would change Hajime or Nagito's character just to add "conflict"

Even though there is already conflict

Just that in my head, the conflict isn't "toxic" enough

Basically my mindset is

"WHAT, THAT DOESN'T HAVE EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION AND CHEATING IN THE RELATIONSHIP???

NOT REALISTIC!!!'

Which of course, is not good

And I am still trying to get rid of that mindset

BUT CONSIDER THE FACT THAT THIS IS ALL HAPPENING DURING A KILLING GAME WHILE ONE OF THEM SUPPOSEDLY DOESN'T TRUST THE OTHER PERSON

AND YET THEY ACT LIKE THIS

I'M NOT SAYING KOMAHINA HAS NO FLAWS

BUT DAMN, IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS GOOD

ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE ENTIRE SITUATION

Am I the only one genuinely worried because Komahina is too perfect?

Like, it ain't toxic and the only reason why they go hostile in a KILLING GAME is because of a misunderstanding about Nagito's character (which causes Hajime to grow hostile towards him)

And yet despite all that, Hajime is still constantly there for Nagito whenever he is in danger (Searching for him when he was tied up, looking out for him and getting hyped about his recovery during chapter 3, etc)

and Nagito is constantly there for Hajime as well especially during investigation (giving Hajime hints, thinking of an alibi for Hajime's innocence after he had just recovered from nearly dying, etc)

They basically communicate to help each other and look out for each other, despite Hajime supposedly not liking Nagito as much and despite them supposedly "being in hostility"

They basically act like a healthy communicative couple despite basically going through a bad breakup throughout SDR2

And even so, they aren't toxic, they still maintain a happy (or at least healthy) relationship despite acting like its the opposite

With the only downside is how Hajime is sometimes an ass to Nagito (for good reason) and keeps denying how much he trusts and cares for Nagito

AND YET HAJIME STILL CONTINUES TO DO SO ANYWAYS

BRUH

Same with Nagito

Even when Nagito found out EVERYONE WERE FREAKING TERRORISTS AND THAT HAJIME WAS THE MASTERMIND OF THE KILLING GAME AND EVEN POINTS OUT HOW HAJIME IS THE PROTAGONIST WHO TURNED OUT TO BE THE VILLAIN OF THE STORY, HE STILL HELPS HAJIME

WTF, THERE IS NO STOPPING THESE TWO AND THEY AREN'T EVEN FUCKING DATING WTF

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HOSTILE TOWARDS EACH OTHER, NOT TRUST EACH OTHER

AND YET THAT TRUST IS WHY THEY EVEN SURVIVE THE CLASS TRIALS TO BEGIN WITH

AND HAJIME KEEPS DENYING HOW HIS FAITH IN NAGITO AND HIS "MALICE" IS THE ACTUAL REASON WHY THEY SOLVED NAGITO'S MURDER

Like yeah he calls them stepping stones for a greater hope, but that's not joking in anyway

i dont know where people get that from-

his rambling might have come off as inconsiderate to the other characters + the player if you're like me

i despised nagito when i first played the game..more than any other player i know. so keep that in mind

but looking back and the gameplay, its like he's reassuring himself and the others that this is all necessary to reach a greater hope.

the characters were angered (and rightly so, keep in mind how they would feel being around someone and then seeing them die) because they couldn't make sense of his ideology and it seemed like he was being "disrespectful"

(by not showing what would be the expected reaction to murder, something like "how could you!!")

i dont think its fair to judge him based on his actions in an unhealthy and anxiety inducing environment that is the killing game, but even so, he was genuinely saddened by their deaths and there's evidence for that

Tbh, all I got from his ramblings is someone genuinely trying to keep their sanity in check in order to properly investigate and survive the killing game

And knowing him and how his mental fortitude is able to limit his breakdowns (Cuz let's be honest the guy should be WAY WAY WORSE than he is now especially with his dementia, but for some reason still stays somewhat sane, at least compared to the rest of the characters)

That seems to be the case

Basically the whole "There has to be hope in all of this despair" except personified

Tbh, I don't think Nagito is THAT BAD to the point where HE IS AN EXTREMIST AND DANGER TO SOCIETY

After all, majority of his actions have reasons behind them and most of them make sense

And weirdly enough majority of his actions act like the better alternative to the actions of other character like how Fuyuhiko basically did the same shit Nagito did in the first trial except it was because Fuyuhiko got angry and not because he wanted to become the victim

And Hajime instead of killing all of his classmates that were terrorist, almost did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE and have the dead bodies get taken over by Junko and almost cause the tragedy to happen A SECOND TIME

Tbh, I really wasn't joking when I say I prefer sticking with Nagito than ANY OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS

Especially since Nagito is the ONLY PERSON who is at least stable enough to handle his own luck cycle because despite having it, he still retains rationality a lot better than the other characters

If anyone else had the luck cycle like Komaru or Asahina, chapter 5 in Danganronpa 1 would've happened a lot more and Asahina would've killed way more than her classmates

And things like Komaru having to pick between killing children or adults would've happened way often

Nagito's smart boi, he isn't "unaware of what he is doing"

He is, he is the most self aware character in the series

Otherwise, we would've had another Junko Enoshima in our hands if Nagito didn't have his mental fortitude to combat his mentally abusing and psychologically tormenting luck cycle

Those are actually symptoms of my mental problems.

I was using that to refer to a lot of the mean things I said to him (in this case). It just came out and I regretted a lot of it later. But I did feel like I should be against him at the same time as loving him

Funny, it's actual due to the fact that you have a lot of self control and while you make bad decisions, they are still a lot better than the alternative usually

Otherwise, you would've been a lot worse by now and more people would've been dead by now

Plus considering that you have a mentally tormenting luck cycle that should make you WAY CRAZIER than you are now, and yet you still managed to have more rationality than majority of the other characters

Especially Hajime (you know, the literal mastermind of the killing game that almost did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what you did in chapter 5 when he almost well

Caused the Tragedy to happen a SECOND TIME because he didn't want himself or his classmates to die)

I would say you handle yourself way better than you think

And no offense to your classmates, but I think personally I would prefer siding with a dude who had a failed suicide attempt and tried to kill literal remnants of despair

Than a dude who did the same thing you did in the first trial except his did it because he got angry and not because he wanted to make himself a victim

Or Hajime, who again almost cause the tragedy to happen a second time

Basically, I would rather have a dude killing himself than have a dude that would rather cause literal tragedy and despair just cause he doesn't wanna die

You know, cause I don't like people dying

In fact, I find it impressive how you still cling to hope despite constantly experiencing despair on a daily basis

Like yeah he calls them stepping stones for a greater hope, but that's not joking in anyway

It's insensitive as fuck but not jokes

i dont know where people get that from-

his rambling might have come off as inconsiderate to the other characters + the player if you're like me

i despised nagito when i first played the game..more than any other player i know. so keep that in mind

but looking back and the gameplay, its like he's reassuring himself and the others that this is all necessary to reach a greater hope.

the characters were angered (and rightly so, keep in mind how they would feel being around someone and then seeing them die) because they couldn't make sense of his ideology and it seemed like he was being "disrespectful"

(by not showing what would be the expected reaction to murder, something like "how could you!!")

i dont think its fair to judge him based on his actions in an unhealthy and anxiety inducing environment that is the killing game, but even so, he was genuinely saddened by their deaths and there's evidence for that

Tbh, all I got from his ramblings is someone genuinely trying to keep their sanity in check in order to properly investigate and survive the killing game

And knowing him and how his mental fortitude is able to limit his breakdowns (Cuz let's be honest the guy should be WAY WAY WORSE than he is now especially with his dementia, but for some reason still stays somewhat sane, at least compared to the rest of the characters)

That seems to be the case

Basically the whole "There has to be hope in all of this despair" except personified

Tbh, I don't think Nagito is THAT BAD to the point where HE IS AN EXTREMIST AND DANGER TO SOCIETY

After all, majority of his actions have reasons behind them and most of them make sense

And weirdly enough majority of his actions act like the better alternative to the actions of other character like how Fuyuhiko basically did the same shit Nagito did in the first trial except it was because Fuyuhiko got angry and not because he wanted to become the victim

And Hajime instead of killing all of his classmates that were terrorist, almost did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE and have the dead bodies get taken over by Junko and almost cause the tragedy to happen A SECOND TIME

Tbh, I really wasn't joking when I say I prefer sticking with Nagito than ANY OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS

Especially since Nagito is the ONLY PERSON who is at least stable enough to handle his own luck cycle because despite having it, he still retains rationality a lot better than the other characters

If anyone else had the luck cycle like Komaru or Asahina, chapter 5 in Danganronpa 1 would've happened a lot more and Asahina would've killed way more than her classmates

And things like Komaru having to pick between killing children or adults would've happened way often

Nagito's smart boi, he isn't "unaware of what he is doing"

He is, he is the most self aware character in the series

Otherwise, we would've had another Junko Enoshima in our hands if Nagito didn't have his mental fortitude to combat his mentally abusing and psychologically tormenting luck cycle

Am I the only one genuinely worried because Komahina is too perfect?

Like, it ain't toxic and the only reason why they go hostile in a KILLING GAME is because of a misunderstanding about Nagito's character (which causes Hajime to grow hostile towards him)

And yet despite all that, Hajime is still constantly there for Nagito whenever he is in danger (Searching for him when he was tied up, looking out for him and getting hyped about his recovery during chapter 3, etc)

and Nagito is constantly there for Hajime as well especially during investigation (giving Hajime hints, thinking of an alibi for Hajime's innocence after he had just recovered from nearly dying, etc)

They basically communicate to help each other and look out for each other, despite Hajime supposedly not liking Nagito as much and despite them supposedly "being in hostility"

They basically act like a healthy communicative couple despite basically going through a bad breakup throughout SDR2

And even so, they aren't toxic, they still maintain a happy (or at least healthy) relationship despite acting like its the opposite

With the only downside is how Hajime is sometimes an ass to Nagito (for good reason) and keeps denying how much he trusts and cares for Nagito

AND YET HAJIME STILL CONTINUES TO DO SO ANYWAYS

Same with Nagito

Even when Nagito found out EVERYONE WERE FREAKING TERRORISTS AND THAT HAJIME WAS THE MASTERMIND OF THE KILLING GAME AND EVEN POINTS OUT HOW HAJIME IS THE PROTAGONIST WHO TURNED OUT TO BE THE VILLAIN OF THE STORY, HE STILL HELPS HAJIME

WTF, THERE IS NO STOPPING THESE TWO AND THEY AREN'T EVEN FUCKING DATING WTF

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HOSTILE TOWARDS EACH OTHER, NOT TRUST EACH OTHER

AND YET THAT TRUST IS WHY THEY EVEN SURVIVE THE CLASS TRIALS TO BEGIN WITH
