@ajnerdess
I need to meet more people in Manchester and make friends because being friends with male centered women is soul destroying and I've made it my goal to meet more people in 2026
Me when the obviously doomed character doesn't get a happy ending
Ahhhh my artist did such a good job with my Scarlet Tattoo I'm obsessed!!
none of these four were acting by the way
STRANGER THINGS 4.09 "The Piggyback" | 5.08 "The Rightside Up"
I just KNOW Eddie was looking at Dustin doing his little graduation speech like this from the afterlife
EDDIE MUNSON Stranger Things | 4.08
Do you know why Eddie's absence hurts so much to me? It's not because he wasn't in the final season, I think his death was so impactful, albeit unnecessary and did help Dustin's character arc in the final season and with the way season 5 went, they probably would have messed up his character anyway, but you what I weep for?
The absence of him in the first 3 seasons. He fit in SO perfectly with the older 4, we were robbed of what could have been with him fitting into that dynamic. I think that's why fanfics with him mean so much to me, they somewhat fill that void because it's SO easy to imagine him fitting in with that group.
We were robbed of him doing movie nights with the others, teasing Steve working at Scoops Ahoy, trying to explain D&D to Robin and convincing Steve to start listening to 'real music'.
No one talking about Karen Wheeler enough. She is just a normal woman, never seen the monster, was drunk as fuck, was scared as shit, and yet she protected her daughter with everything she got.
A broken wine bottle and having to strike that demogorgon up close.
AND I REPEAT MY FUCKING STATEMENT BECAUSE, SHE GOT THE FUCK UP FROM BED, KNOWING THESE BOYS ARE THE KEY TO FINDING HER DAUGHTER, HER THROAT A MESS, COMPLETELY DRUGGED ON PAIN KILLERS, AND SHE STILL WENT AND KILLED 3 DEMODOGS. AND CARRIED THAT TANK FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG.
Karen Wheeler DOES NOT play around when it comes to her children.
For the people who HATED the ending of ST, like truly HATED it and hated the epilogue, I'm genuinely curious to know how you would have wanted it to end?
Like don't get me wrong, I feel so hollow since I watched it but that's because it's over and I'll miss it whereas I know a lot of people feel crappy because they thought the ending sucked.
Personally, I thought the epilogue was beautiful with how bittersweet it was. They finally get to be kids/young adults again and move on with their lives, and yes, the reality of that is that some will stay put in Hawkins, some will move on, some will break up, go to college, stay in touch, but some will drift apart etc because at the end of the day, the show has ALWAYS been about the kids and their lives. They have always been the heart of the story so they had to move on with their lives eventually, as sad as that is for us who, for a lot of us, grew up with them.
No, I'm not happy with a lot of the plotholes, not happy with El's ending, or Eddie not coming back (even though I always knew I was delusional with that one) but personally, I wouldn't call it an objectively BAD ending just because it didn't cater to all our personal preferences and theories like byler and Kas etc.
I'm not saying I'm mad at people for not being happy, it just shows how much we are invested in a show that meant a lot to us over the years and for many, it was very symbolic of the end of a lot of people's childhoods which is very sad, but it sucks people feel like they have to react the same way we did to game of thrones where they feel like they can no longer love the show because of how it ended. It was amazing for 4 seasons, I just hope we don't let hatred ruin all those good memories, and please be mindful of not bullying those who don't have the same views as you, even including the Duffers, guys, they clearly loved that project and didn't just jump ship like the GOT writers did for more money. I think they knew they were never gonna please everyone. But that's life. I think they tried their best to deliver us a happy ending...... Apart from El, they were wrong for how they did her, but I get it. Not happy about it, but I get it.
thinking about when they needed a car, Eddie immediately thought about that RV... like, instantly... had he already daydreamed about stealing it? we know he doesn't want to be like his dad, but like, this is his face when they jack that thing:
And his face when he suggests it?!
He’s been waiting for this day
I’ll be those neighbors are assholes to him and this is his petty revenge like “oh you wanna bitch about stupid shit? I’ll steal your house AND yo car”
i am going to miss steve harrington & dustin henderson for the rest of my life
I hope now that stranger things is over, the fanfics don't stop. I've been surviving on at least one Eddie Munson x reader fanfics a day since June 2022
"For Eddie."
