WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND
JUST BECAUSE IT HAS “FEMIN” IN IT, DOESNT MEAN IT FAVORS WOMEN
A young Muslim man was attacked in Kassel, Germany. A group of people attacked him with a knife and he was stabbed several times, leaving him severely injured. Anti-Muslim hate crimes have been increasing rapidly in Germany, as well as throughout Europe. These crimes are not getting much attention by the media. Groups of Germans have been having huge anti-Islam demonstrations in which thousands of people turn out to protest their hate of Islam and Muslims. I can only hope the situation gets better but for now I think everyone should be very careful, especially when it’s dark out or if you’re alone. [via Hamdi Aburahma]
This is pissing me off so bad right now
dont ignore this
This is so fucked..
this is so terrifying
The most dangerous phrase in the language is, “we’ve always done it this way.”
"Come on, let’s mix it up!" The heart surgeon says.
"B-but we’ve always done it this way!" The other replies, "this is how you replace a heart valve."
"That’s the most dangerous phrase in the human language!" The first surgeon replies haughtily as he inputs a fruit loop into the patient’s heart. "This will be his valve. He will be a fruit loop in a world of Cheerios."
(taken from this post on the experiments of Harry Harlow)
This is serious business, because this is a large part of how sexism, racism, homophobia, rape culture, ethnocentrism, etc. continue to happen.
