Jacks and Evangeline will forever be the most iconic couple. Like wdym, she got with her fictional crush. What do you mean the person she turned to to save her happily ever after was her real true love. What do you mean he changed history for her??? What do you mean she's the only girl he ever truely loved?!! Evajacks is honesty unbeatable, in a league of their own.

They deserve a happily ever after.

i've seen people say that evangeline never did much for jacks, but on the other hand, i think she did everything for him. she never gave up on him, in any way. she believed in him, in his kindness, his love, in his heart with such strength that she faced the risk of being killed, and if it weren't for her, his curse would never have been broken and he would only sink deeper and deeper into darkness. that's why i say they're perfect, because jacks fought tooth and nail to keep evangeline safe and so that nothing would hurt her in any way, while evangeline fought for him and his happiness until the end, even with the world against her. that's what makes her so special, her unbreakable hope.

I think we need to talk more about how Stephanie showed us the difference between obsession and love in the caraval and ouabh series .

First, we know his kiss is deadly yet still in caraval he kissed tella not caring she may die while in ouabh he NEVER tried to kiss eva because the thought of her dying was HORRIFYING to him!

Second, with tella, he was so selfish that he tried to get between her and legend MULTIPLE TIMES he even tricked her to marry him! while with Eva, he let her be with Apollo as long as she's happy and safe he was ready to watch her from the sideline and even BURN HIS OWN HEART FOR IT !

Third, in the last book, finale, he literally told tella,he was "obsessed with her" (not in love) as in acftl he said to eva "I love you"

Which is one of the many reasons I don't get tellajacks shippers like hello? did we read the same series?!

i always think that maybe jacks gave evangeline his dagger, the SAME one donatella used to stab him, to see whether she would stab him with it, just like tella did when they kissed.

it’s like his test - does she love me or will she stab me? AND that's also why he’s so gleeful and always brings up how eva DIDN’T stab him when he became a vampire, because it’s like “oh. she doesn’t want me dead. so she basically wants me”

everytime i think about stephanie described how jacks felt when evangeline died in his arms at the end of tbona tears my heart into two pieces. his screams tore and pierced the sky?????? the lights above the north were gone DARKNESS FELL??? Literally what the hell.
