I wonder if one of the reasons Susie wanted to be the one to heal Kris specifically in the first two instances (and she even makes sure to also heal Kris when Ralsei is the one being healed) instead of letting Ralsei do it, why she smiles so gently when she's about to heal them, isn't just because she wants to get better at it, but also because she wants to make up for bullying Kris in a way?

a lot of people have pointed out that it's gone unaddressed for too long, but I'm starting to wonder if the reason Susie hasn't approached it directly is both out of guilt, and fear that if she brings it up it could remind Kris that she hurt them and then they might decide not to be her friend anymore. it's not a rational thought, but she's been shown to be afraid of losing their friendship before (almost asking if they'd still be friends if the dark worlds were just a dream in chapter 2)

but I think it's definitely something that's been on her mind because of how badly she seems to want to be the one to heal Kris when they're hurt, and there's this line too:

She looks so sad about it for a moment, and then says it's "stupid" they weren't friends way before (almost as though she's calling herself that)

and also reflected in how she calls herself a "bad" person

I don't think it's necessarily the narrative that's afraid of bringing her bullying kris back up, I think it's susie that's afraid to bring it up and it will be addressed in the future.
