Ema was shocked as the light and pain came. But she took a deep breath and grabbed onto the strange light, reminding herself she was doing this strange phenomenon because she wanted her and her sister to not suffer.
"Your wish has now been granted." The incubator spoke as the girl’s new Soul Gem formed in her hands.
"......Thank you." She told Kyuubey as she curiously looked at the Soul Gem.

"But, I’ve never seen anything like you, and as far as I know, science doesn’t either. So I think it’s safe to assume you aren’t lying. Okay…. As for a wish…" She thought for a moment. At first, it seemed like Kyuubey just ignored Ema. After a couple of seconds, a light appears on Ema’s chest. A sharp pain came with the light until the light came out of the girl and stayed in front of her. “Now grab the light, and have your wish realized.”

The creature had called them ‘heinous’ so they must be pretty bad. All she ahd to do was become a so-called ‘Magical Girl’? Sounded simple enough, for one free wish. "….. If I agree to this, you truly will give me a wish, correct?"

If Kyuubey had to make a contract later, it would be better to tell as much as he could now. If he left any detail out now, it could ruin the low chance of recruiting Ema, considering her belief in science.

"Yep! We got bingo~!" She slaps down a report she had just finished based on her forensic work. "Alright, so there were fingerprints on the victim’s clothes. They aren’t the victim’s, that’s for sure. And we found a trace amount of blood on the weapon." She grinned.
"B-16! Bingo!" He laughed loudly (at his own joke, nonetheless) before taking the papers, skimming through them. That was excellent work, as expected from Detective Skye. "And I take you already did the AFIS and CODIS runs for both of them?" He waited for her answer, preferring to hear it rather than reading it from her report while she was straight in front of him.
She giggled slightly at his joke. "Of course, Bobby!"
"So, we put the fingerprints through the system and got a match. An ex-convict by the name of Skull Prit. Either he knew the victim, or he was the culprit. We also checked out the blood, and it wasn't the victim's blood. It seemed to match a friend of the victim.... We might have multiple murderers in this one."

Also, there were the defendant’s boots in here… caked with mud and some blood as we saw at the crime scene, Miss Skye!" He said, looking at her. "I think you got some of the other evidence… would you show them to me?"
"...Alright." She had been watching and listening to him, absorbing every detail. This would be important.
"I have the cloth with blood on it we found, I did a fingerprint analysis and it was found to have the defendant's fingerprints on it. The lab boys are just finishing up on the blood analysis." She explained, setting down the evidence bag containing the cloth. "I also found some footprints at the scene, and they matched both the victim and the defendant. How was that?" She looked up at him after putting down the analysis reports.
