🚑Pitt OC🚑

Blake McKay

Finally got around to making a ref sheet for my Pittsona. I am like, super happy with how this turned out ngl.

My first ever human OC!

A few things:

-Yes I gave him both halves of Kingdon, I couldnt choose and he's greedy lmao

-A lot of stuff is OOC for The Pitt, but like, thats part of the fun tbh

-Frank is over at the McKays A LOT during the 10 months (and ofc his marriage is falling apart) so him and Blake meet/bond via that.

-Blake spots Mel using her lava lamp app on his first day, and shows her his ("mine's green!") They become fast friends after that, with him bringing her bobas on the regular

-Robby isn't fond of his loitering, but tolerates it because it does seem to mildly cheer people up when this annoying little creature comes around and teases folks. (Plus his patient care is 👌 and he has one of the quickest turn around rates in Pittsburgh)

This is probably cringe, but who cares tbh, I had a lot of fun with this. I am def keeping this guy as one of my perma OCs.

My first work of these two got a good amount of love, and folks wanted more. I am nothing if not a people pleaser.

Avatar × The Pitt

that no one asked for

Dr Frank Langdon is set to be the next RDA Avatar to be sent off to Pandora, his task being to collect and study the flora and fauna for medicinal benefits. Unfortunately the night before departure, his boss Dr. Michael Robinavitch, discovers his more than problematic addiction.

Not willing to scrap the multi-million dollar Avatar body that was already made for Langdon, Dr Robby agrees to send him out anyways, but under strict supervision from a human doctor. That doctor is Dr. Mel King, one of Dr. Robby's best students.

Langdon is less than thrilled about this arrangement, but there is no other option. To his surprise Mel starts to grow on him, and vice versa.

In this scene, Mel is helping Langdon bandage up a particularly nasty Viperwolf bite from when he wandered too close to their den.

The OG dog-coded Pittling

Fun fact: Jack Russells are known for their rat hunting skills

This one was an easy decision, we all know that the beloved Huckleberry is a puppy dog.

I decided on a jack russell cross, since they are very common working farm dogs next to border collies. Very good at sniffing out critters, specifically rats!

I think this pair is so stinking cute, I'd be thrilled for it to go either platonic or romantic 💖

I know that a lot of folks see Mel as more bunny-coded, and I tend to agree...usually.

Deer are tough, and can be hella mean if you threaten them or their family. I would like to imagine that Mel would get pretty mean if someone threatened the safety of Becca (or Langdon 👀)

This is my first time drawing any sort of ungulates character! I am very much a canine artist, so this was a fun challenge!

Up next: Robby or Whitaker (or perhaps, both?)
