sorry if this isn't your thing but just imagine akechi whimpering and whining because he's in such immense pain. like what if at some point in mementos (either with the phantom thieves or by himself) and get hit with a particularly deep physical attack and kills the shadow but then he limps against a wall and bites his lip as it quivers and he just starts crying because of how shitty his life is

ok this is kinda random but do you ever just want to see bitchy characters cry? for example: light from death note. i love him with all my heart but he's def crazy, like, sometimes i actually want to beat him and watch him cry y'know?

spoilers for yotsuba arc and end of death note under the part!!

this is somewhat unrelated to the first part of the post, but i think light's character is pretty interesting. one headcanon i have of him is he when he started using the death note he genuinely tried to use it for good, but he started spiraling from the supernatural power he acquired and developed his god complex. think about it, i know most or some people would unquestionably report the death note or burn it, but light was a bored teenager who wanted something to do.

this is back to the first part of the post; i think in the yotsuba arc i think light should have figured out he was kira part way through and had like a breakdown of sorts. maybe he realized he must have been kira, and, still in the mindset of his pre-deathnote self he hated what he become. maybe he has a panic attack or two. but when he touches the death note at the end of the arc he turns again.

at the end when he's splayed across the stairs and dying, i think it he would've cried, realizing what he's done to himself, the pain he's cause to millions of people, and his family, his friends whom he's manipulated, he basically killed his dad, and what for? the world didn't change much at all. after kira i'm sure the people would go back to normal. the fact he wouldn't go to heaven nor hell either. although, i think the moment is just as powerful when he doesn't actually cry, he just accepts it.

but that's just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i know i kinda trailed away from the first part of the post but maybe ill rant more later or smth.
