The reason why I draw L x D is... I've never thought about it until one day I befriended a girl who likes capri too, and she told me Pacat said she wanted to write laurent tops for one time but she thought it looks too intentional, like just to prove that there's no "who's dominant who's submissive" in a relationship, so she didn't write it (I don't know if she really said it or not I never checked)-and since then I've always been thinking about this! About Laurent tops! Now my attitude has changed from "WTF" to "I want to see Laurent tops RIGHT NOW".

So here it is.

Smth else: I really like the scene in the novel where Laurent came in Damen's room "a shining prince in full panoply" (smth like that I don't quite remember the words), so I drew L fully dressed in the picture.

And I like it in the novel when D repeats L's words. It's so funny XD

Inktober day 6: This Inktober I'm challenging myself to draw Laurent from Captive Prince in the style of different manga artists!

Here's Laurent in the style of Tite Kubo, author of Bleach, in honor of the new season of Thousand Year Blood War.

I love seeing the evolution of Kubo's art style over the years. He's got such a variety of character designs, so this one was really hard to emulate 😅

I particularly just find Nikandros aversion to Laurent hilarious. Like, stop and think about it, his king was murdered by his own brother and that traitorous blonde snake, his country is being stolen and he doesn't even know which one of the main players are worse, the hateful jealous brother? The blonde bitch? The fucking veretian?! And HE is having to work with Vere!! With their stupid prince!! And he has to deal with all the border problems, and Makedon, and he just lost his brother, his brother the one true king!! And then there he is, keeping up his side of the bargain and OH MY GOD is that Damianos??? How can the gods be this kind??? Things will be ok now, the fucking kyros who were all so happy to roll over for kastor will change their minds, the future is bright again, his best friend is alive, Akielos is saved!! Oh no who's that?? It's blonde and blue eyed and... and a bitch!! And Damen has his puppy eyes out!! No not again, I can't deal with it all again!!!
