haven’t even pressed play on the lecture and my head is already hot

anecdotes from the editor:

- they kept having to delete most planned scenes cause they (carlos) looked fake as fuck

- they had 5 minutes to interview roger, including set up. roger has the busiest schedule the director has ever seen.

- the intention from the beginning was creating the debate/conversation on wether carlos can actually be the greatest of all time, his way

- carlos’s team/family were remarkably kind to the filming crew

- favourite tournament for everyone was wimbledon

- carlos and rafa trained together in las vegas pre netflix slam and they were apparently joking/goofing around most of the time

- las vegas was a mess for filming cause carlos was under 21 so he wasn’t legally allowed to appear almost anywhere on camera in the state

- ferrero, molina, carlos and all main members of the team gave multiple 2-3 hour long interviews for footage

-mcenroe is very grumpy off camera and turns on ‘the charm’ for the camera but he really enjoyed talking about carlos and left in a good mood

- jannik also gave a very long interview and the crew were impressed by how much respect they had for each other
