In September 2022, RJ's world was rocked by the development of what most doctors believe to be psychological seizures or non-epileptic attacks. Having been forced to leave his career as an EMT, RJ sits down to observe the connection between past traumatic experiences, particularly those in EMS, and their seizures. You the reader will accompany RJ on this journey of introspection into death, PTSD and EMS.

I know I just did this back in November when I reset but I've since changed my name and pronouns and wanted to re-up a few things lmao.
I'm Aki. I'm transgender and use he/him pronouns exclusively. I'm older than 30 and my bones let me know every single day. I currently live in the United States and masquerade as the gods favorite chew-toy. Sunshiney (but sometimes feral) cat coded.
I have a degree in English Professional writing which basically just taught me a variety of rules and how exactly to tell those same rules to 'fuck off'.
I write and read a multitude of different genres, but usually avoid literary fiction. I do however prefer to write very character-driven narratives with characters that fall into the spectrum of different identities (from orientation to gender to illness/disorder).

Hiii :D I might sound like an idiot, but I can't figure out if your name here is meant to be 'Aki to writes' or 'Akito writes' TvT
I apologize for taking 5 million years to get back to this blog so I don't even know if you will get the chance to see this answer, but honestly it can be a little bit of both LMAO but don't feel like an idiot, it's just a silly little name thing ^^
originally my penname was "Rook" and I was often called "Rookito" to include the diminutive suffix from Spanish (-ito) for endearment reasons. When I changed my name to "Aki" and realized I needed to change my url, I found that 'akiwrites' was already taken so i just kept the suffix for fun. So in technicality it is supposed to be "Akito writes"
however. since Aki is as a Japanese given name, looking at it from the idea of adding the particle "to" (と) to my name with the word 'writes' makes it sound like "Aki and/with Writes" which is pretty on par for the blog itself too LMAO - either way you could be right but your last was my original intention ^^

Oh thank you so much for sending me a question!! I'm actually going to give two difference OCs favorites because they both piped up at the same time lmao
Corva, the MC from Shadows of Dawn, loves autumn the most because it's a very spiritual time for her. Especially the closer you get to the equinox, it's a time that she feels stronger and more herself, though she never really realizes it's because her magic is stronger during this time.
Ravid, the MC from Beyond Stardust loves winter the most. This is partially because winter is the "calm season" on his planet, following the storm season that's associated with "autumn". Winter is a time of recovery which is an inherent theme in Ravid's journey.

Some thoughts and feelings have overgrown quite a bit in my head. It gets a little suffocating sometimes. While I love them dearly, I think they might benefit from a little trim every once in a while.
