SHIFT LAB Business Cards by Studio On Fire
The logo side of the card uses Mohawk Via Vellum Safety Yellow, in an80# cover, which is a stock that is vibrant in color without being fluorescent. The logo was printed using a tonal ink, creating just a subtle color change between paper and logo.
The information side of the business card was letterpress printed on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Smooth 165# cover with a black letterpress ink as well as a custom mixed yellow ink that matches the Mohawk stock on the reverse. After printing the two stocks were custom duplexed together, for a card with a total thickness of 245#, and the edges were colored black.

Vodka glass by Thomas Feichtner for ABSOLUT ELYX
Designer Thomas Feichtner was commissioned by ABSOLUT VODKA with the design of a new glass. This glass was supposed to be designed specifically for the Swedish distillery’s finest vodka, ABSOLUT ELYX, and reflect the handwork of the most experienced distillers.
“By virtue of its alternating phases, edges and surfaces, this glass is possessed of an almost geometric character that invites exploration not only visually, but also in a tactile sense. A glass that strikes a careful balance between weight, glass thickness and height...”
Specifically for this collaborative project between ABSOLUT and Thomas Feichtner, a drink was created together with top-notch barkeepers. The “Absolut Feichtner”—made of Elyx, a bit of wheat syrup and lime juice, and a shot of Peychaud’s syrup and Angostura Bitter—has a rather light body and a floral aroma, and it supports the vodka’s natural taste. This drink is of a soft coppery hue that refers back to its origin: The nearly 100-year-old copper kettle No. 51 in Åhus, Sweden.

It’s All Our Blood Poster by Harry Pearce | Pentagram
This poster created for the “Questioning the Bomb” exhibition, marks 70 years since the twin nuclear bombing oh Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
“The visual idea and the line came simultaneously. I was looking at ink drops underwater, for a completely different project, and when I turned the picture upside down I saw the mushroom cloud.I felt compelled to use my own blood dropped into water, coupled with the line, ‘Its all our blood’ in answer to the exhibitions title – ‘Questioning the bomb’. The title comes from my belief that what we do to others we are really doing to ourselves, and Damocles’ Sword still hangs firmly over all our heads.”
Take a look at how the poster was created on Pentagram’s New Work page: http://new.pentagram.com/2015/03/new-work-its-all-our-blood/
Westival Architecture Festival Branding by Patrycja Kuracińska
Westival is an architecture festival based in Szczecin, Poland. During this edition main topics were public and social aspects of designing urban landscapes. In icons I focused on senses connected to human oriented design and events like screenings, workshops and concerts that took place during the festival week. Colours and obligue stripes correspond with the construction tape.

Costello + Hellerstein Branding & Packaging
The word mark is a clean and confident contrast to the organic lines, motion and craft origins of a flowing marble pattern achieved by swirling ink on water and overlaying cartridge paper. The result is a beautiful, uncompromising identity. A fitting showcase for the truffles within.

TOMS Roasting Company Branding by Eric Pieper
Art direction and design for coffee packaging, a series of regional icons and labelling system, a responsive website, cafe spaces, t-shirts, video spots, and more. "TOMS makes coffee? We knew that would be the first question on customer’s lips, so we we addressed this right on the packaging. By incorporating bold and provocative messaging, we re-assure coffee drinkers that if a scrappy start-up could do it once with shoes, it could do it again with some damn good coffee."
With every bag of coffee you purchase, TOMS will give one week of clean water to a person in need. And by partnering with Water for People, TOMS is able to make sure that they are giving back to the same countries that provide the beans, helping to stimulate economic development as well.
