Thank you college education for making me $33,000 in debt. I have yet to receive my piece of paper which validates my education and my blood pressure has probably risen to unhealthy levels from completing the financial aid exit awareness test.. Please Bernie Sanders. Be elected. Make college free, or at least affordable, for the upcoming generation. Don’t let them go through what many of us have gone through with such unaffordable costs for school…

I knew this would happen prior to graduating, but finding a job has not been easy. I have been applying to many places and I have still been unsuccessful. I am not giving up in my search for a job, but dear lord is it hard. I NEED to find a way to pay off these loans and I need to find a way to help support my family. I just found out that we are really, really, REALLY not in a good financial situation, so I neeeeeed to get a job ASAP to help my family with our expenses. I would need to pay about $350 a month over the timespan of 10 YEARS to pay of my loans. Is this a joke? Really? Ughhhhhhh. Sorry for the rant, tumblr, but it is just horrible how hard reality hits. #EndRant

Humans adapting themselves to nature rather than forcing other species to adapt to us. This is what we must do in the Anthropocene. Trees are the most important three dimensional structures of many ecosystems, and they are the central design features of most permaculture gardens. They provide many products and services to other species, from housing to food (acorns, insects, pollen), shade and shelter from the wind. We ought to respect their importance.
