My Medicare Advantage plan refused to cover me when I requested my tubes tied even though the doctors agreed to it. That was when I was in my mid 30s. Now that I'm 45, still on birth control pills, I'm wondering when I'll hit perimenopause. Even if my new Medicare Advantage might cover a procedure, I might not need it.
