Someone mentioned Lady Amalthea from Last Unicorn after seeing my Princess Serenity re-upload in instagram. I always wanted to draw Lady Aamalthea, so I did some research, but looking at Prince Lir I thought that his colour scheme is so much more interesting. I was in mood for bright colors. There we have a glancing Prince Lir.

Art summary 2017. I’ve just realized that I’ve missed the art summary for 2016, but this was quite an empty year anyway. One interesting thing was, that the amount of drawing was around the same months. Starting mostly with January, June and December. I think, this is monstly the result of holidays. I’m not a fulltime artist, atm it’s even more on a hobby basis.

Okay, what to say about 2017? Only talking about art related, I felt at least more productive than last year. I’ve just realized that it’s nearly impossible to do really monthly heavy-time-spends-drawings, besides I’m not that kind of person anyway. That’s why I start a bullet journal. Well, not 100% a bullet journal, since I’m also using it work sketching, quick drawings, writing and whatever came into my mind. I was more active at instagram in 2017, because I think it’s a better and easier platform to upload all my little spam doodles without annoying anyone. My idea was to work on my compositions of drawings. For this, I don’t need colours in the first place. Plus, something which can go with my tough work-schedule. That’s why I’ve mostly have black/white drawings around March to November. Yes, I’ve also joined Inktober. That was really fun.

Around end of December I start working with colours again. Due my sickness I was forced to stay at home and I spend mostly time into drawing. It felt like I was recaping all the months before, when I was just not able to draw. In addition, I was very inspired by my trip to HK and visited many galleries there. So far to 2017. What will come next?

What I want to change for 2018 is, still working more on my composition, but also to get away of drawing only “pretty” things and also upload unpopular things.

Long time no see a League of Legends Fanart. :D Star Guardian Soraka. I always wanted to draw that skin design since forever and I always love to play with this champion, too. It was such a pitty, that I couldn’t get the skin through the “Stuar Guardian”  gameplay. Just managed to get two tokens. >_>

Taylor R inspired (/bc I’m medium in portraits) drawing. I’ve just realized, that I have been following her channel for a while now and like especially her last birthday video. I wanted to practice colouring hair anyway, so that was a good excuse. :)

Wonder Woman. Unfinished and will stay unfinished. It also just a cut off from the overall painting. I wanted to draw something in a red-gold theme. Since it’s almost christmas, you know. :D

Currently I’m quite sick, that’s why I try to draw more than I usually do. Enjoy your day and stay healthy.

Some thoughts of HK. I’ve seen at HK Central many students with a qipao school uniform. It was insteresting to see a somehow mixed school uniform. So, I wanted to catch that memory.
