“Not allowed,” she said as she stepped away with a smile.

“She isn’t my girlfriend.. We broke up a couple weeks ago.” Mason told her. “When do you leave?”

“Oh,” she said, unable to hide her smile. “Friday.”

“I can’t live here anymore. I feel suffocated. I’ve always wanted to see the world and it’s about time I do it.”
