I started watching "for all mankind" again from the beginning, season 1. If you're not watching this show, you should.

Not only do they nail the science and the politics, but they capture so much about The human condition. Even in the first season you have the astronauts trying to land on the moon and the Mexicans attempting to migrate listening to the astronauts on the tiny transistor radio. The show captures so much that happened, could have happened and may happen in the best and worst ways and I'm always going to love it.

Stormlight lore is wild because some asshole killed a sheep which means slave fantasy John Wick ended up being unleashed upon the world's political theater changing geopolitical alliances enabling some fuckin old guy with the altered IQ of a bagel to kill the god of literal hatred and put himself on said god's throne of immortal crab violence inspiring space conquest powered by the cloned ghost of a reformed war criminal who sacrificed himself to stop bagel IQ guy from taking over the world, but at least slave fantasy John Wick got married so that's cool

We lovingly refer to October 10th as „Shakadolin Day,“ as it’s the six-year anniversary of Brandon tweeting „I could see a world where Shallan and Adolin would go for it, but Kaladin is as prudish as I am, so I doubt you’d persuade him. 🙂 For now, we’ll have to leave that to the imaginations of the fanfic writers.“

Prompting many to ask „Wait, is this confirmation that Adolin is Bi?,“ „So Kaladin’s obstacle is his prudishness, not his orientation?,“ and „What do you mean ‚for now‘???“

And in Sandra’s series being prudish is just a challenge not an obstacle 😉

I'm very normal about how integral Kaladin was to Shallan and Adolin 's wedding. How his present to her helped her settle when she was a bit terrified about how she'd go forwards. How Adolin received dozens of swords but wore the one Kaladin gifted him. How they both look at him multiple times throughout the whole thing.

These three are going to kill me I swear.

every time discussions pop up comparing eo and mustang as wives on reddit i get so unbelievably defensive of eo. “mustang is a better wife to darrow” well she’s also not a starving enslaved sixteen-year-old girl, i don’t know if you’ve noticed. and why exactly are we measuring eo’s worth by how “good” (read: submissive) of a wife she was to darrow anyway.
