"Okay baby. Stay safe. I’ll see you when I see you." There was a pause. "I love you, too." He signed, hanging up his phone and holding onto the counter, hanging his head. Lawrence looked up and out the window at the snow piling up and turned to Alexandra. 

"Looks like it’s just you and me. Maria’s stuck across town." He walked back over to where she was sitting. "How’s the paper coming along?"

Alex sat quietly staring at her laptop, desperately trying not to listen to Lawrence's conversation. She had been working on this paper for nearly two hours now and she, being the perfectionist she was, was no where near done. Sighing Alex slouched in her chair and shook her head. "I honestly do not see myself finishing this tonight." She peered out the window in disgust. She had had enough of the snow now. "I could think of better things to be doing." She muttered as she gulped down the rest of the contents in her cup before closing her laptop. 

"So what now Professor?" Alexandria grumbled.

I could be doing better. I'm stuck with Lawrence. He was helping me with a paper and now I'm stuck here until this blizzard stops.

Nope. No dates, no valentines, everyone is busy so I figured I would try and enjoy it. They are...destructive. Tore apart my mattress. Smashed my lamp. Thankfully I haven't hurt anyone.

Winter Wonderland || Janice&Alex

She had gone for a run, the cold night air helping to clear the troubling thoughts from her head when she saw her. The red head spinning, and Janice couldn’t help but stare pace slowing to a walk as she crossed the quad “You’ll catch your death that way” she called voice breathless.

Alex ceased spinning when she heard a soft voice. Turning, she found a pretty young woman watching her. For a moment the vampire watched her breath come out in puffs of white air. "I think I will be fine." She smiled. "I couldn't pass up the fresh snow. It won't stay pretty for long."
