"All in all is who we are"
I drew this quite a while ago.
To this day it stands to be one of my best drawings.
It's Kurt Cobain by the way.

"All in all is who we are"
I drew this quite a while ago.
To this day it stands to be one of my best drawings.
It's Kurt Cobain by the way.
Faceplanting the Scanner
Strangely enough I had never done this before.
It came out with some interesting results, I'd love to try more in the future.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers
I plan on going back to this at some point and even maybe draw it on a bigger scale.
Some Bizarre Drawings of Myself
I don't really know how to explain these...
My Current Sketchbook (2014 - )
These are a few drawings from my current sketchbook.
I like to try out things and as you can see they don't always work...
I found out that I can draw Sonic pretty well though!
Continuous Line Drawing
I forgot I did this!
I'm quite pleased at how it turned out. I might work it into future work.
Simplistic Beatles
I tried to draw the Beatles as simple as I could.
I think John near the bottom is probably the best.
Late Night Sketches
Here are some quick sketches that I did pretty late.
The idea behind it was that I would look at a subject and quickly draw their features. The result is something that kind of looks like the subject, but in a lot of ways it doesn't...
My School Sketchbook (2010 - 11) Part 2
Here's the rest of it!
My School Sketchbook (2010 - 11) Part 1
This was my school sketchbook way back when. It was likely to be the first time I used mark making and stencils.
Ah, I remember when...
Ok, it's not exactly in keeping with my other work but I thought I'd share it anyway.
It took me a number of hours to create this and I am really proud of it.
The good news is I only lost two fingers in the process!
As I am recently plowing through Twin Peaks I decided to express my love for the weirdness and wonderfulness for the show.
See you in 25 years...
I created some fan art for the amazing "Bee & Puppycat" from Cartoon Hangover.
This is based on a design that the creator, Natasha Allegri, drew and i changed Bee's dress to that in the show.
Roll on November 6th!
I created this for a graphic design project at college.
The idea behind it was to create a "hybrid toy" that combines two toys and makes them into one. You then had to market it as a brand new toy that has just become available.
I really wanted to do something with Japanese language, so I decided to combine two plush toys from Pokemon (Dragonite) and Totoro from "My Neighbour Totoro".
People thought it was pretty cool and I even managed to reference Mr Sparkle from the Simpsons!
Not only is the name of one of my favourite films featured in this photo, but it's also taken in one of my favourite cities in the world, New York City!
I took these pictures when I went to Dorset a while ago. I thought I'd share them with you.
Welcome to Alex Burrows + Art!
Hey there!
This is grand opening of my website that documents my work. I hope people will discover and share my work, but most of that they enjoy it. I enjoy creating artwork, so this is my little gift to those wish to receive.
Enjoy!
