I haven’t played DBD in like 5 years, but this would probably be Jane’s favorite game. Also I’ve been (re)watching a lot of horror films during my recovery ^^

Quick bonus, some movie assignments to Jane + CP9 based on themes and such:

🧵 DBD Headcanons below the cut:

🐆 Rob Lucci

— Toxic killer main

— Thought the game was stupid at first, but the chase itches his carnivorous instinct

— Seriously grinds out his bloodweb because the competition is personal after getting run around by Jane

— Chases with bloodlust 3 when he was a noob killer

— However, still not above tunneling and facecamping if he’s in a bad mood

— Either plays tombstone Myers or goes for a NOED/bloodwarden build to give survivors false hope. Likes to Mori but also likes to play with his food (and probably uses the perk too!)

🐺 Jabra

— Played killer at first but got tilted from the survivors bullying him

— Frosty eyes killer but he’s kinda cute about it

— Plays survivor if he feels lonely

— Maybe a Nea/Meg main. He wants to be a toxic survivor as revenge, but Jane or Fukurou have to coach him.

— Not as good at mind games as he thinks he is

— BMs in chat after the game whether or not he wins or loses

— Gets reported for sandbagging or toxic behavior. Probably got called a chaser for tunneling.

🦒 Kaku

— Only plays because Jane makes him play

— Gen jockey. Actively avoids the killer

— Actually gets jumpscared

— Doesn’t immediately understand the mind games that happen during a chase. Plays very safe

— Maybe Jane makes him play Leon. Otherwise he’d use default Jake

— Teabags in Morse code to Jane if they’re not in a VC

— Often the unfortunate victim of Jane’s and Fukurou’s meme saves. It’s okay because Jane will die to let Kaku escape

🐁 Jane

— Got everyone to play at least once (except Spandam)

— Survivor main. Greedy Ada main

— Toxic flashlight player. Chases the killer

— Does meme builds and strategies (ie. hook sabo saves, hole jukes, head on)

— Only touches a gen for flashbang and chemical trap

— Dies often

— Got reported by Lucci for bullying him

— Teabags in Morse code to Kaku even if they’re in a VC

— Laughs at Kaku when he gets scared. It’s okay because she always makes sure he escapes.

🐁🦒 JaneKaku + Ghost Face

— I need to mention their shared crush on Ghost Face as a single unit

— The Ghost Face mask is reminiscent of Kaku’s skull mask (being noseless and spooky) during Iceburg’s failed assassination

— In a friends-only lobby, they take turns playing him to chase each other (it somewhat feels like foreplay lowk)

— Also they gotta use him to communicate in Morse code because he’s the only killer that can teabag

🐑 Kalifa

— Not really into it but plays for Jane and the female characters

— Pays money to unlock the prettiest characters and prettiest skins

— Her characters and hooks are always customized

— Easily jumpscared. Easily tilted.

— But, she’s very astute when it comes to meta and theory-crafting. Has objectively good builds

— Could get competitive but would rather play something else (she prefers organizational/management games ie Stardew Valley)

🦁 Kumadori

— Worse player than Jabra

— Performatively screams at jumpscares

— Doesn’t actually get how to play

— He thinks “a man must face his fears head on”

— Stands still in front of the killer because he’s asking everyone else what he should do. By the time he gets his answer, he’s already on a hook and asking everyone what he should do all over again.

🦉 Fukurou

— DBD god

— Knows everything about builds, trivia, strategy, and game tech

— Plays like a streamer (yaps the whole time while playing)

— Professional callouts. Amazing memory, amazing game sense, amazing spatial awareness

— He and Jane do dumb meme survivor plays together

— Plays somewhat safer than Jane

— Scary Nurse main. Lowk competitive.

🐂 Blueno

— Casual player/not into it but he’s still a better player than Jabra and Kumadori

— Understands the game because he listens to Fukurou

— Competent but predictable playstyle

— Gen jockey

— Most reliable teammate

— Can play both killer and survivor

— Doesn’t get scared

Kaku Headcanons…

I’m bored and never do this sort of thing, today’s your lucky day, errh.

Honestly if given the opportunity I could probably write an essay. It’s incredible how even one of Oda’s lesser characters has something to it.

Starting off classic… male pattern baldness

Think Vegeta, Doflamingo, Damon Albarn in the year 2000. I’m telling you this guy either just really loves his hats or he’s a little embarrassed about balding at 23. I mean, got the impression he likes to keep the most perfected, cool-guy forefront when he became giraffe and couldn’t take the heat. He does NAWT like being made fun of.

I’ve tried my very best to give a reason to this headcanon, in actuality, I just think it’s attractive.

Snores

And if you twist his nose until it cracks, the snoring stops because he wakes up in agony

Goody Two-Shoes

Probably has a negative opinion on smoking and such, has a little drink once in a blue moon. Practically sober. Follows the rules and will remind others of the rules, but occasionally bends the rules.

Wears tracksuits

Because you’re telling me someone who wears a tracksuit under a tailored suit doesn’t just wear them in their spare time and off days?

Quality time

Probably goes camping, hikes, plays card and board games, mountain climbs… he likes to keep his body and mind active. If he can’t train he’ll do recreational things instead.

Antique collector

Mostly based off canon, his quarter in Ennies Lobby was decorated with antique decor. He certainly has a real appreciation for vintage wares and pottery.

Orphan

I mean we can assume so based on Big Mom’s backstory, but I don’t think it was necessarily confirmed?

‘Great’ with kids

But in a way that he doesn’t care for them, yet they just wanna be around him. He’s the type to be done entertaining children after half an hour, but they’ll cling onto his legs and try to pull him back by his shirt! Kinda like me.

Foodie? Vegetarian?

I can somehow see him turning his nose up at unfamiliar dishes, ‘I’m not eatin’ that.’

I also think after gaining his zoan, to his disdain, he slowly starts to dislike meat.

Scared of bugs

I don’t know

Very clean, very preened, chore determined

Showers every morning and every other night. Bathes once a week with salts. Shaves every weekend, wears aftershave, cologne. Not a hair on his body, except his arms and legs, which are so light anyway they might as well not be there. On top of his laundry, washes dishes asap, cleans living space twice a week…

Favourite band is Dexy’s Midnight Runners, as a general rule he likes 80s pop and a bit of math rock. Also keen on a bit of classical/orchestra.
