Ravenclaw Headcanon
Ravenclaws will think about all the things they need to do in a day, becoming more anxious about it, all while laying in bed for hours.
"I don't know the answer, so I'm going to just cry, thanks."
- Ravenclaw, when asked something they should know.
The Houses When Home Alone
Gryffindor: spends hours just in their bed, talks to themselves a lot, dances around without any pants on, is very glad to have a pet with them for company, eats a lot of junk food, is always happy to have a house to themselves but traumatised when there's no one to help get rid of a spider.
Hufflepuff: probably does some baking, enjoys alone time but glad when friends/fam return to give them some company, tells themselves that they'll tidy up the house but pick up like one thing, makes a list of everything they want to get done.
Ravenclaw: sleeps in super late, spends their alone time to focus on something creative like writing a new story or creating new music, takes ages deciding what the perfect meal for the day will be but then eats something like icing out of a box, watches a lot of TV.
Slytherin: constantly on their phone or laptop, wears pyjamas the whole day, turns the music up really loudly, if left alone too long they wouldn't shower for a number of days, extremely glad that they don't have to have any human interaction on that day.
Ravenclaw normally: I don't want to do anything. I have no energy. I need a vacation from life.
Ravenclaw when sick: I have so much stuff to do! I should reorganize my house, write a book and maybe even get all my chores done.
Gryffindor: Hey Ravenclaw?
Ravenclaw: Mmm?
Gryffindor: There are 21 letters in the alphabet right?
Ravenclaw: ...There are 26 letters in the alphabet. How do you not know this-
Gryffindor: Oh right! I forgot! U R A Q T!
Ravenclaw: *still ranting* It doesn’t matter which letters you forgot. Oh my god. How do you not know there are 26 letters in the alphabet. You’re not THAT stupid!
~three hours later~
Ravenclaw: *lying in bed*
Ravenclaw: *bolts upright*
Ravenclaw: Oh my god wait U R A Q T= YOU ARE A CUTIE! GRYFFINDOR!
Ravenclaw: You know how I said I loved the rain?
Gryffindor: Yeah?
Ravenclaw: *dripping wet* I meant I enjoyed it from indoors.
Slytherin: Why is your Christmas tree still up? It's nearly February.
Ravenclaw: Because time is relative and it brings me a small amount of joy in our broken society.
Slytherin: ...
Ravenclaw: I've been too lazy too take it down.
RAVENCLAW: “Stories you read when you’re the right age never quite leave you. You may forget who wrote them or what the story was called. Sometimes you’ll forget precisely what happened, but if a story touches you it will stay with you, haunting the places in your mind that you rarely ever visit.” –Neil Gaiman (M is for Magic)
Ravenclaw: Gotta study for exams, gotta study for exams.
Cat: meow
Ravenclaw: Well I can't study now, this cat clearly needs some pets.
