alright I need some help! I want to be able to read classic books but only time I’ve ever been able to properly get into one is back in high school when they were like book discussions and breakdowns etc to actually understand the text SO does anyone know any podcast or anything that like might have a similar vibe where they discuss a book (maybe character by chapter??) in an interesting way but also makes it approachable for a lil humble guy like me?

I just finished the baby love trilogy to realise that they are companion novellas to zombabe, a book I did not know existed woops. Is zombabe worth reading?? I don’t particularly love zombies at all but babylove series felt more necromantic and gothic fantasy than super zombieish so anyone who’s read it let me know the vibe of zombabe and how they compare !

hey!! idk if you remember but you left some book recs on a post of mine semi recently and I just finished the flatshare audiobook the other day and LOVED it , one of my favourite books I’ve had all yearrrrr ahaha so if you have any more good romcoms like that please send my way kind stranger ahah

I'm so happy you loved it too!!! The Flatshare audiobook is one of my all time favorites. I can't think of anything exactly like it, but some other romantic comedies I've really enjoyed are Funny Story by Emily Henry, Like Real People Do by E L Massey, If I Never Met You by Mhairi McFarlane, and One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London.

guys I need help, I’m having an argument with my brother that there’s a scene in one of the hotel Transylvania movies where the invisible man makes the joke about “you wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses right? Oh hit a man with glasses very clever” or something like that.  he says that joke wasn’t Wreck-It Ralph , which YES it is  but I swear it’s also in hotel Transylvania.  anyone back me up ? 😇😇

@petrareads Hey, sorry, this got buried. Coming from a fan of both franchises, No. That line is from Wreck-It Ralph, not any of the 4 Hotel Transylvania films. There may possibly be hope for a similar joke in the upcoming Motel Transylvania series whenever they release that. But so far that's only a Wreck-It Ralph joke.

@petrareads Griffin (Invisible Man) DOES hit Drac after taking off his glasses in the first film though when he makes the "Nice to SEE you" joke. Dracula is unable to hit back.
