alright I need some help! I want to be able to read classic books but only time Iâve ever been able to properly get into one is back in high school when they were like book discussions and breakdowns etc to actually understand the text SO does anyone know any podcast or anything that like might have a similar vibe where they discuss a book (maybe character by chapter??) in an interesting way but also makes it approachable for a lil humble guy like me?

I need everyone to read the unmagical life of briar jones itâs like carry on + the raven cycle with a sprinkling of house of anubis?? itâs angsty gay nuisances who are always furious and horny causing mayhem at a horrible magical boarding school

Seaside reading đ
đ The Riva siblings! Jay, Hud, Nina and Kit!
I just finished the baby love trilogy to realise that they are companion novellas to zombabe, a book I did not know existed woops. Is zombabe worth reading?? I donât particularly love zombies at all but babylove series felt more necromantic and gothic fantasy than super zombieish so anyone whoâs read it let me know the vibe of zombabe and how they compare !
reading in bed. painting by marta astrain.

Here are all the fairy tale retellings, reworkings, reimaginings, and works that evoke fairy tales. Honestly, I was shocked this list...

I have immediately realised I very much need a drawing of the âhistory huh?â tshirts except instead of Alex and Henry wearing them itâs Dan and Phil
omg how to express the enormity of this
hey!! idk if you remember but you left some book recs on a post of mine semi recently and I just finished the flatshare audiobook the other day and LOVED it , one of my favourite books Iâve had all yearrrrr ahaha so if you have any more good romcoms like that please send my way kind stranger ahah
I'm so happy you loved it too!!! The Flatshare audiobook is one of my all time favorites. I can't think of anything exactly like it, but some other romantic comedies I've really enjoyed are Funny Story by Emily Henry, Like Real People Do by E L Massey, If I Never Met You by Mhairi McFarlane, and One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London.
hahah thatâs so funny I am about to start rereading Funny Story today !! Iâll definitely check out the others tho as I havenât read them !! thanks !!!! <3
the goodreads app updating their icon for the first time in 100 years gave me a jump scare this morning
asked my library to purchase this about a month ago and now it is in my hands !!! excited to read it i haven't read a poetry book in forever
I finally got to read this a month ago !! I listened to the audiobook and it was fantastic and as someone who hasnât read a lot of poetry definitely inspired me to look out for more
guys I need help, Iâm having an argument with my brother that thereâs a scene in one of the hotel Transylvania movies where the invisible man makes the joke about âyou wouldnât hit a guy with glasses right? Oh hit a man with glasses very cleverâ or something like that. ďżź he says that joke wasnât Wreck-It Ralph , which YES it is ďżź but I swear itâs also in hotel Transylvania. ďżź anyone back me up ? đđ
@petrareads Nope, that's only in WIR.
Noooo this is not the answer I was looking for rosetyler42 !!!! any hope for Hotel Transylvania 2? đ
@petrareads Hey, sorry, this got buried. Coming from a fan of both franchises, No. That line is from Wreck-It Ralph, not any of the 4 Hotel Transylvania films. There may possibly be hope for a similar joke in the upcoming Motel Transylvania series whenever they release that. But so far that's only a Wreck-It Ralph joke.
@petrareads Griffin (Invisible Man) DOES hit Drac after taking off his glasses in the first film though when he makes the "Nice to SEE you" joke. Dracula is unable to hit back.
Hmmm maybe Iâm thinking of that joke hahaha alas I have to admit defeat, thanks for the comprehensive answer !!!!
