You know every show that the premise is like “people find out ghosts/monsters/demons are real and are charged with stopping them” appeal to me way more now as a post-graduate not because I believe in ghosts more or whatever but because can you IMAGINE just being handed a job that you don’t even need to apply for? Like just being told “basically there’s this bad thing and all you do is make sure it doesn’t do what it wants” that’s just customer service baby and I worked that for 6 goddamn years! Just TRY getting past “I have a job to offer you” before I can jump down your throat agreeing.
some idiot with a dumb ghost-hunting name who joined the Cause because they love the paranormal: oh fuck oh shit this is really scary guys I’m having second thoughts
me, who knows that if we run away I have to apply to like, a real actual Jobbe again: wakey wakey demons it’s this or retail so guess who’s got nothing to lose

Honestly whoever is writing these SNL skits….. Finally SNL feels vital and important again, satire wise
A few years ago Planting Peace bought a house across from the Westboro Baptist Church and painted it rainbow colours.
Last year a little girl told them how wonderful it would be for them to have a house painted in the transgender colours, so she would also feel safer, accepted and represented in her neighbourhood.
Today it’s finally happening. They are painting the neighbouring house the colours of the transgender flag. Just look at that smile!
Joseph Fink invented love in the finale of Alice Isn’t Dead when Alice said:
“Love is the look she gives me when we both come from work and we’re tired, but one of us has to figure out what dinner will be, and so we both go into the kitchen, put our hands on our hips, furrow our brows at what’s in the fridge. Love is each of us showering before bed, one after the other. We can’t shower at the same time, because we like very different temperatures of water, and that’s love too. I brush my teeth and she pees. The fog in the mirror gives way to a portrait of the two of us preparing to sleep. It’s a portrait of love, and we look at it every night.”
And he invented love again when Keisha said:
“Love is the way her neck smells. That’s where it’s strongest, the side of her neck. And I lean into it and I breathe in, and I remember what it means to live with another person. Love is the hours we spend under a blanket on the couch, and love is also the hours we spend apart, earning a living so that we can return to the couch, once more lie down together. Love is the beat of the heart and the passage of air and it’s the circulation of fluids and it’s the equilibrium of all the functions that sustain us.”
And again when she said:
“Love in the morning is a cup of coffee made just the way she likes it. And love at noon, as the way the sun through her hair makes an imprint on my breathing. And love in the afternoon, when I nap alone but nap knowing that she is pacing around the house somewhere. And her motion is near my stillness. And love in the evening, as a laying of hands and a stretching of limbs. And love in the quietest hour of night, when in a moment of wakefulness between hours or dreaming, I hear the soft hiss of her sleeping and feel what birds must feel when nesting.“
Small in size, but might in sound 😍 @vallevecchia
I am fighting to save my niece from an abusive household, and to provide her with a safe alternative to her current living situation.
During a recent visit, my eight year old niece informed me that she is being abused and neglected by her mother. She is regularly beaten, verbally abused, left to fend for herself for long periods of time, and subjected to days without food or bathing. Additionally, because her mother does not believe in any kind of medical care, my niece has not been vaccinated or provided with the standard medical treatment that a child her age requires. Even serious injuries my niece has sustained as a result of physical abuse and general neglect have repeatedly gone untreated. […] My niece is in immediate danger and the threat that she may be fatally injured increases the longer she is forced to live in such an unsafe and abusive household. […] This March I’m proceeding with legal action to prove abuse and neglect, so that legal guardianship can be granted to other family members. Because these proceedings may take months, I’m also filing an emergency ex parte order to gain temporary custody while the case ensues. I’m raising funds to rent an apartment in the city where my niece lives, so I can provide her with safe housing and keep her daily life as stable as possible during the proceedings. The funds I raise will be used for first month’s rent and deposit for the apartment, as well as any other housing expenses. I’ve set a tentative goal of $2000, and any additional money raised will be used for legal fees.
Every child deserves a home in which they are safe, respected, and loved. Every single donation brings my niece one step closer to the childhood she truly deserves! I appreciate any help you can give, and I can’t express how much this will mean to our family. Please consider donating. If you are unable to donate please share with your friends and family (on FB, Twitter, IG, etc)! Thank you so much!
Okay so Norway is like such an odd country cause like listen to this
Norwegians consume 9% of all Pepsi max produced
Norwegians eat the second most tacos in the world, just after Mexico
Norwegians drink the second most coffee in the world, just after USA
Norwegians read the second most comic books in the world, just after japan
There are only 5 million people in Norway
And apparently they are having an AMAZING time.
Send in weird group chat assignements and I’ll post them since they’re probably stranger than the podcast at this point lol

“Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because the dead return, because light reverses, because the sky is a gap, because it’s a shout, because light reverses, because footsteps in the basement, because footsteps on the roof, because the shy is a shout, because it’s a gap, because the grass doesn’t grow, or grows too much, or grows wrong, because the dead return, because the dead return.”
-Alice Isn’t Dead by Joseph Fink
Alice Isn’t Dead poster I made to avoid the horrors of the world. I may be obsessed with this podcast.
“A person lives always in the remnants of the life they’ve led up until the present, making do with whatever they’ve left behind for themself.”

And as always, good night, Night Vale. Good night.
