Thinking about historical / ancient uma musume now.. medieval uma knights who train and run in tournaments for kings. Royal stables full of decorated girls and they parade around with royalty. Uma in suits of armor possibly jousting.

They would hold huge festivals and fairs so the girls can show off their skills and show 'which kingdom is best' because having elite horse girls is a sign of prosperity.

My girlfriend said i should make a clydesdale moodboard. Clydesdales were originally bred as smaller draught horses but were later selectively bred to produce taller and taller horses for show. They were originally used as work horses, and later used for shows and parades as well.
