                H E L L    Y E A H !!      mina can’t hide her excitement,   full lips stretched from ear to ear.  it takes her a second longer to finish putting on her jewelry,  before reaching over to tuck a strand of camie’s hair behind her ear with a soft giggle.   to have her by her side for this was so important to her --- above all, mina valued the love of her friends.

This year’s Prom King & Prom Queen are Bakugou Katsuki & Mina Ashido!

Congratulations to the both of you! And to all of our nominees who participated in our prom poll! As well as big round of applause for all of U.A. for your collected participation in the nomination process! Have a wonderful time dancing the night away & make sure to swing by the desserts table for celebratory sweets! As always thank you heroes for joining us for an evening under the stars!

A literal gust of wind follows the bellow of one of Shiketsu's party crashers, Inasa, expression lit up in a grin, one arm extended above his head and waving with little care for what other attention he might grab, as he crosses the floor towards her, half shouting before he even gets to her side. "I heard YOU WERE AN EXCELLENT DANCER!! WE SHOULD DANCE!"

                      oh,  absolutely !!!      mina can’t help but take advantage of the gust of wind,  giving a small jump to let the breeze pick her up off her feet.      && with a playful twirl,   mina falls into place at his side.   her arm wraps around his,  leaning a bit against his arm before flashing him a playful smile.          truthfully,   camie crashing prom with inasa was probably the best thing that could have happened that night.  as much as she loved her classmates,   it wouldn’t have felt right to not have her best friend !   && having all worked together in the past,   it didn’t feel out of place to have them there.

Once she turns, the hand that had been used rotates, palm upwards and offering as a cherry blossom flush showers his cheeks, hidden by the bright and colourful lights around them. "..Did you want to dance?" comes, voice raised to beat the music and melodies twirling through the air; his own tone flat, even more so in comparison. / from shouto!!

                    so far,   in every aspect,   the night had been perfect.    they’d come together, occasionally breaking off to chat with friends.  --- but she kept close by.   an occasional touch,    a brush of his arm.   mina didn’t want him to get overwhelmed.   so she reminded him,  in small ways,   that she was there for him.  to ground him.   to keep his thoughts in the present,  && not to get too focused on the social implications of a gathering like this. 

        mina figured it was about time to wander back to shouto,   having spent the last 10 minutes or so chatting with camie.  .  .   but the soft tone called for her attention just as the thoughts entered her head. 

                   did you want to dance ? 

      she turned to meet his gaze,   painted gold lips curved into a bright smile.    her hand slips into his,   lacing their fingers together gently.
