1. What made you like this ship?
I find Damian's prickly defensiveness about her being read as a crush. It's cute, boy with a crush on an older girl who sort of acts like an older sister to him. Also their initial friction with such stubborn personalities is amusing to me. I like when someone is around that can handle him being a little prick but not just crumple, you know? And for Steph, I think it's fun for her to get aggressively pursued by this fucked up little boy.
2. Whats your favorite thing about the ship?
I have a few different interpretations about how their dynamic would turn out, but right now, probably the potential of them both being pathetically smitten with one another. Steph is pretty good at handling herself but when it comes to Damian it's actually good to show/tell him her feelings outright and express affection, and I think she sees Damian as this sort of intriguing puzzle. Damian finds her candor refreshing & can be blunt right back. I think he would try really hard to be good for her.
Plus, I'm really a big fan of Damian really blooming into a sexual relationship with sadism and being free to explore that with Steph, who is very receptive to it. They'd be a very good dominant/submissive pair. Throw in some angst with miscommunication as well, and mwah.

Honestly none that I can think of.
1. What made you like this ship?
I knooow it's hated, but the way Damian and Talia talk to each other in Morrison's run is very fascinating to me, especially with everything that comes later on. I think what made me really think about them was Robin: Son of Batman, when Damian wakes up being bathed by several other people with his mother in the room, where he then aggressively verbally questions her and she tries to explain herself/appeal to him. There was another time, where Damian was seemingly afraid of being raped by the vision of an older woman(?dont quote me, I saw the panel and didn't read this one I don't think?) And it reminded me of Talia.
2. What's your favorite thing about this ship?
The incest. Of course. Though I find Talia and Damian's relationship is always going to be very complicated and conflicting, I think there being an aspect of physical or emotional incest is intriguing. Especially if Talia had it happen in some way to her with her father. I don't think Damian would consider anything that happened between them as actually harmful until the moments he's confronting her with her betrayal where those feelings and fears finally come flowing out. Damian really wants and needs his mom but he's never been able to really have her, and he always has to be strong, and perfect. I think he would have a lot of confusion about what sort of things count as harm to someone (especially him) because he was groomed into believing so much of what he went through was okay.
Even if he did resent her for all of that, he would still forgive her and love her, and even would still touch her and let himself be touched again. Because it's different, for him, and for who they are as Al Ghul's, and no one else in his family would get it. (Ha, think again, babyboy).
On Talia's part, it would be this sort of grey area as well. This is just how things are in between their family. This is how Talia can love, besides sending Damian away and betraying him.
