The Logical Song by Supertramp is the Vision song (especially White Vision) and if I had more time/editing skills I would be editing the VisionQuest trailer to it

My thoughts about JARVIS in the first VisionQuest trailer
(as my followers will probably know by this point i am extremely normal about him so i'm sorry in advance for my long rambling)
There's some speculation so look out for potential spoilers!
General thoughts:
He's real!!! Look at him!!!!
He seems to be the butler of the Vision mansion, because of course he is.
The uncanny valley is especially strong with JARVIS because he looks and sounds so much like Edwin Jarvis but the subtle differences are noticeable (which is perfect considering he was made in the image of him).
This outfit looks a lot more sleek and modern than his suits in Agent Carter, which makes sense considering he isn't Edwin. Ever since we got that description of the human avatars I was wondering what they'd be dressed like and if they'd follow a colour scheme, so I'm a little surprised there aren't more elements of orange/gold in his outfit- then again it might have gotten confusing with Vision's own colours. But still, a gold tie might have been cool...
I think that's Vision's hat he's holding in the above image? Maybe he took his coat and hat when Vision entered the mansion?
I might be wrong, but from what I can tell from the couple of lines he had in the trailer, James D'Arcy is using a different accent than he did in Agent Carter. In Agent Carter he used an older RP accent to match the time setting. Here, it sounds like he's got a much more modern RP accent (take this with a grain of salt since it's based solely on the pronunciation of "around"). The accent in the trailer actually feels closer to his voice in What If?, where that also moved slightly away from the voice in Agent Carter. It feels like it's meeting in the middle of Edwin Jarvis's old voice and the tone of Paul Bettany's JARVIS.
^ (looks like you'll get your wish buddy)
Speculation on his role:
As much as I'd love him to play a major role, I don't think we're going to see a lot of him and I think we might have already been teased on the few scenes he might be in.
He seems to be the butler of the mansion based on his outfit, calling Vision "Sir", and the shots of him cleaning. DUM-E and U seem to be workers (btw my Mischief Theatre brain CANNOT comprehend seeing Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer in a Marvel show next to my blorbos but that's a whole other post). I'm not sure what role FRIDAY will play but she seems dressed like a secretary of some kind maybe?
I think all the AIs/bots other than Ultron will have relatively small roles since they're limited to Vision's "Mind Mansion" (that's what I'm calling it for now). I think that's a shame especially in this case, since JARVIS specifically is a big part of Vision similar to Ultron.
He does seem to be the one who voices concerns about Ultron in the trailer, which does make me wonder if he will have the biggest role out of the Stark AIs (which, again, would make a lot of sense considering Vision's origin). It also makes sense that out of all of them, he'd probably have the biggest grudge against Ultron and know what he's capable of.
I do also find it worth noting that Vision and JARVIS dress very similarly with their 3-piece suits. These outfits aren't exactly new for either of them (Vision in the early eras of WandaVision and Jarvis in Agent Carter) but when they're surrounded by lots of different colourful outfits then I think it really highlights their similarity and Vision's connection to JARVIS specifically. It also helps that they sound very similar and are coincidentally the same height (6'3). I wonder if the series will address their similarity or connection at all- I really really hope they do.
(side note: seeing bettany and d'arcy interact in master and commander was trippy enough, but seeing them interact directly as vision and jarvis is seriously messing with my brain)
What I would like to see but probably won't happen:
Like I said, I'm not expecting him to play a major role.
With that being said!! I would hate if they didn't make the most of having James D'Arcy in the cast, especially if the main theme of the show is "fathers and sons". So what I really want is the show to at the very least mention Edwin Jarvis, whether that be solely in reference to JARVIS's human avatar appearance or tying in Edwin's fatherly relationship to Tony Stark. I think the latter especially would be a huge missed opportunity if they don't do it.
One way that could be really cool is for JARVIS to kindly remind Vision that Ultron is not the only fatherly influence he has to turn to. JARVIS could sit down with Vision in the home cinema like Ultron did, but would instead show him old videos of an older Edwin Jarvis with a baby Tony. Edwin and little Tony is something I've wanted to see for forever but never thought I would, so the fact that there's a tiny chance it could happen in this show makes me incredibly excited.
Honestly, just any deeper interaction between Vision and JARVIS would satisfy me. There is one shot in the trailer that might hint at one such moment? But I'm not going to get my hopes up too high since it's hard to tell whether that's JARVIS or not from just the back of his head. If it is JARVIS (or, by some miracle, Edwin) then this scene also greatly excites me. Or it could be a goodbye scene. I might cry if it's a goodbye scene.
(can someone please help confirm if this is james d'arcy or not before i go crazy)
Other than things relating to Edwin Jarvis, I'd really love for JARVIS to take control and have a badass moment or two like he did in the early MCU. If Ultron does turn out to be the main threat in the series (which it does seem like he will be) then I think it would make a lot of sense for it to be JARVIS holding down the fort and defending the Mind Mansion considering how he defended the nuclear codes in Age of Ultron.
After all, it does look like the Mind Mansion will be under attack...
Also, I want JARVIS and Ultron to interact and not get along. I think seeing them bicker and despise each other would be quite funny. I want them to have the energy of divorced dads with Vision as their son for no reason other than it would be funny.
Anyway, that's all I can think of for now. I'm sure more thoughts will come to me and I'm sure I'll add to this post when we get new footage, but for now I am extremely excited to see Jarvis back on my screen in the big '26.
If anyone has their own thoughts or speculation then you're welcome to interact with this post or send me an ask!! I will gladly ramble and speculate about the show in general because I have many thoughts :D
