Since all I really see for One World is hate, I’m gonna put my opinion out.
I personally love the game. I had my grievances with Natsume games in the past, but Light of Hope grew on me and so I had an open mind going into One World. And I’m glad I did
Sure, the backgrounds don’t look as high quality as you’d imagine they should, but they still have their own charm! I actually love the colors and how vibrant they are. And while some NPCs are nameless, the candidates in my opinion are very well written! I love each of their personalities! I think their designs look super cute as well.
The Expando-Farm is a nice addition too! The idea of transporting your farm at no extra cost to different locations actually works out rather well. It helps when you need to teleport somewhere before you have the relic completed as well.
Oh, and the stamina being effected by heat/cold is great too! While I don’t like passing out every so often, the mechanic adds a little extra to the game that really helps make it unique.
I always loved the mutation mechanic in Light of Hope, so I’m glad to see that return! OH and how you obtain the seeds is rather nice too! I already have quite the stock growing after collecting seeds from whatever whisps I ran into.
You don’t have to love the game, but don’t make others feel bad for enjoying the game. It’s not perfect but neither is Olive Town. That doesn’t mean I won’t like both games. Everyone has their preferences so if you’re going to fill One Worlds tag with hate, add what you actually did like about the game in too. Or just don’t put it in the tags. If you’re considering it I definitely recommend it! The main grievance I have with it is there’s barely any named normal villagers, but it makes up for it in the depth of the candidates!

Hiya! I noticed you’re wondering on if you should buy Light of Hope or not! In my opinion, if you can get it at maybe $20 or less then it’s worth the purchase. It was surprisingly fun despite me initially thinking I wouldn’t like it, but it’s all up to preference! But yeah I’d say buy it either preowned or somewhere where it’s not almost 60 bucks.
