Hii! I just wanted to ask are you doing okay because you haven't been active.
I know this may seem stupid to ask as a random person on the internet but I really love your writings and they're one of the reasons I love shadow & bone so much.
I hope all the best for you ♡ happy holidays
Hi anon! Thanks for checking in! I’m somewhat active here but I’m usually only on here once a week.
I haven’t really been writing bc 1- I don’t have the inspiration to write certain things anymore, it just doesn’t feel the same to me. That being said. I think I’m going to put my SaB series on hold for now while I at least try to write for my Star Wars series (collide). But like I said, writing feels more like a chore now instead of something that I throughly enjoyed to do. I know it doesn’t make sense for me to put Mizpah on hold because it’s more popular but TO ME Collide has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first series I wrote that I truly became so enraptured with the ideas and little details that it would feel like a big failure if I wasn’t at least going to finish it.
2- I’ve been working on my own book. It’s more so putting together thoughts, ideas, world building, etc. That I’m doing and not actually writing anything. That’s also a hard and quite tedious process for me lol. Creating a world from scratch is hard so that’s another reason why I’ve been away from tumblr for so long.
I do want to mention that even though I’m going to put Mizpah on hold, most of the plot has already been thought out. So if you’re impatient and just want to know how the ending goes lmk and I’ll make a post about it! But I wouldn’t get ur hopes up on me ever regularly updating it like I did when I first started writing it. Like I said, writing just isn’t the same for me anymore.
Even though I do want to update my other series and possibly post one shots when I can, it’s not guaranteed that I’ll write and post something to this blog.
Lastly, thank you all for the love on Mizpah and my other works! It truly does mean a lot to me that even now there are people reading my work and enjoying it. Happy holidays to all! <3
Lol this is fun! Thanks for the tag @lucrezia-thoughts ! Behold my latest obsession, Captain Howzer 💙

“No strings attached.” That's what Billy had said to you the first time he had fucked you in the dark bathroom of a bar. After he had left you dripping with his cum, he had handed you his business card and told you to call whenever you wanted to be fucked into tomorrow. Naturally you were apprehensive at first. You’d gone to the bar with the intention of having a girls night, not to be getting railed by Billy Russo. Even then, you expected Russo to be a one-and-done type of guy. He had a reputation to uphold afterall.
You went weeks without contacting him, busy with work and your personal life. Until one night all of the pent up stress and anger had caught up with you. You were the one who fucked him into tomorrow. Nevertheless, Billy kept a relentless pace throughout the night, that man surely had the stamina for it. Since that night, the two of you had become regular fuck buddies, seeing each other at least thrice a week. In the beginning, Billy kept to his reputation. He never stayed longer than necessary and only texted you if it was for a booty call.
But recently, he’d been calling you- asking about your day. How was work? Did you eat already? Do you want to hang out later? Obviously, they all led to you being fucked by Billy in the end. To you, it felt like something had changed, or you had assumed so. It was not like you went around asking Billy’s ex-flings how he treated them. Lately, he’d bring you breakfast. How he got a copy of your key, you had no idea nor did you want to know. But you appreciated the gesture even if most of the time he showed up unannounced. Sometimes he would bring you a bouquet of your favorite flowers.
The gesture made your heart melt, and before you knew it you were falling dangerously in love with Russo. ‘No strings attached’ The thought rang clear in your head each time a confession was at the tip of your tongue, the words wanting to tumble out so desperately. Three months. For three months you had an inner battle, deciding on whether it was worth it at all. A love confession from you would alter your relationship-if you could call it that- drastically, quite possibly end it too.
After a while, the constant worry and anxiety became too much. Some nights you’d cry yourself to sleep to the thought of never being enough for Billy. That all you were to him was a booty call. The morning after, you would reassure yourself that you were different. That he treated you differently. How many of Billy’s ex-flings had the luxury of saying that Billy brought them breakfast and flowers every morning? That he would buy you so many books that now you had piles of books lying around, because he knew how much you loved to read? Or that every Wednesday, he’d have groceries sent to your house because that’s when you usually went grocery shopping?
You always told him that he didn’t need to do that for you, that you enjoyed going shopping on your own. He’d always tell you that it was no problem and to repay him by making an excellent dinner. So every Saturday night, he would come over to your place and eat. Oftentimes, the two of you talked about how the work week was. Sometimes Billy would tell you about his times in the foster homes and Marines. Other times, after finishing dinner he would skip the desert and go straight into fucking you.
You wanted to be set free from the constant overthinking, so this Saturday night would be different from the rest. For this special occasion, you prepared his favorite meal in hopes of persuading him.
You let out a nervous breath as you glanced at the clock 7:55 pm, Billy always arrived at 8 pm, on the dot. He was usually never late and if he was, he made sure to text you beforehand.
Before you know it, the doorknob to your front door starts to turn. Billy enters your home with a deep breath, “Aw, you cooked my favorite? What’s the occasion?”
“Come, sit and eat. We’ll talk about it later.” You wanted to make sure he at least had a nice meal before you potentially ruined his night. “How was work?”
“Oh you know, the same stuff. Training and recruiting for ANVIL. Frank’s been really up my ass about hiring new recruits.” After Billy had successfully escaped from Rawlins grasp and Frank had his name cleared, the two became business partners. You’d only been to ANVIL a handful of times, there was never really a need for you to be there unless Billy asked to see you. “You’re stalling.”
“Pfft, me? No. I’m not-”
“What did you want to talk about?” He asked, wanting to get straight to the point.
“There’s been something on my mind for quite some time now.” You said, twirling a fork with your fingertips. “It’s been eating me up..”
“What, do I gotta kill somebody?” His face was serious as he placed his utensils down. “You know I would, for you.”
“No, it’s..” You huffed out, “that’s exactly my problem Billy. You care too much for someone who said no strings attached. Breakfast and flowers every morning. The books. These weekly dinners.”
“You’re my friend now, I care about you.” He said, reaching out to place his hand onto yours. At the last second, you snatch your hand away before he can make contact.
“Friends don’t fuck each other at any given chance, Billy.” You looked into his gaze as his eyes twitched. “There’s something else between us, admit it-”
“You’re delusional.” He cut you off, standing up from his chair. He ran a hand through his hair as he stared you down, a sign that he was becoming agitated. “We’re friends. Nothing more.”
“You can’t tell me that those gestures don’t mean anything to you. That you don’t share the same sentiment that I hold for you.” You pressed, standing up from your seat as well.
“No, you don’t mean nothing at all to me.” Billy wanted to throw himself off a cliff as soon as the words left his mouth. How many nights had he stayed awake, watching you sleep as he imagined this night a million times. God, why did he have to be so stupid.
“Are you serious right now?” You wanted nothing more than to hurtle your plate at Billy’s gorgeous head. “What are you so afraid of Russo? Why won’t you let anyone love you?”
“Nothing. I’m not afraid of anything.” He replied
“Then why won’t you let me love you?” You screamed at him. You refused to believe that all those nights meant nothing to him. That he could brush you off so easily.
“Have you stopped to consider that maybe I don’t want you to love me?” His words left you in a daze. “That I don’t want to love you?” Billy was good with words, but with you it seemed like all of his coherent thoughts left his mind. He wanted to tell you how much you meant to him, how much he loved you. But you got what it takes to set me free.
“Get out.” Now you actually threw the plate at him. “Get the fuck out! Now!” You screamed as you continued to throw whatever you could at him. He looks at you one last time because heading towards the door. Just before he can leave, he stops as he hears you call out to him.
“Russo, leave the key. Lose my number.”
Billy felt his heart grow heavy as he reached into his pocket and left his copy of your key on your table. Your cries being silenced as he walked out of your life. It’s for the better, he told himself. Oh, you could mean everything to me.
zoya outlives everyone she loves. she’s forced to remember every moment with nikolai and relive it constantly, only to be reminded he is long gone and forgotten by his beloved subjects. but not her. she is still here, alive and alone. her garden filled with plants of names she’s forced to remember, but even her plants cannot live forever and slowly die as well. and frankly, after nikolai’s death, after planting flowers in the memory of her lover, it got harder to even take care of the giant garden. the motivation gone. which only hurts more because it is the last thing she has of him to hold on to. it is only her and the memories of a dragon old as time.

Padme is the first out of the three to take notice of your arrival, your droid following close behind you. She is also the first to notice the slight tear tracks coming from your eyes. Before anyone else can approach you, she stops in front of you and lightly puts her hand on your shoulder. “Are you alright?”
You take your time to compose yourself, deep breath in and slowly exhale out. You nod your head, “I will be.”
Padme holds your gaze for a few more seconds, trying to determine if your statement was true, and squeezes your shoulder. “I’m here if you’d like to talk. About anything really.” You muster up a weak smile and look towards the crowd. Before the two of you walk off, she gently fixes your makeup with her fingers, doing her best to cover the tear tracks. Padme interlocks your arm with hers and graciously walks towards a group of senators.
“Come, let me introduce you to some of my good friends.” As Padme walks up to the group, they all turn to greet her. “It’s nice to see you all again. This is my new friend, Alyra. Alyra this Riyo Chuchi, Bail and Breha Organa, and Jar Jar Binks.” She said as she pointed to each person. They all greeted you warmly, especially Jar Jar.
“It’s nice to meet all of you.” You said. For a while you watched the senators converse, occasionally chiming in when you wanted to. The conversation was interrupted by King Dendup who was tapping on a microphone, asking everyone to take their seats.
Padme grabbed your hand, directing you towards a table that seated Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka. She sat next to Anakin and you to the right of her. To the left of Anakin was Obi-Wan and to his left was Ahsoka. To her left was Plo-Koon, followed by Rex and Cody. You had assumed the chair to your right was to remain empty, that was until someone had aggressively pulled it out and sat down with a sigh.
“You new here, darlin’? I’ve never seen you before.” Asked Wolffe, his voice raspy.
“Yes and no. I’ve never been to Onderon until today, but I’ve been on Coruscant for six standard months now. You probably never see me because this is my first time leaving the Jedi temple for something that isn’t related to my training.” You turn your body towards his, showing him that he had your full attention, “I’m Alyra, and who might I be seated next to this fine evening?” Of course, you already knew who he was, but you had to ask for the sake of being nice.
“The name’s Wolffe. But you can call me anything you like.” He smirked
You took a good look at his face, making sure that he would take notice. “I think I’ll stick with Wolffe, it suits you quite well.” You smiled back at him. Before you knew it, you were being served your meals. The table held a quiet chatter as you all ate, every so often you could feel Anakin’s gaze on you. You desperately wanted to fling a single grain of rice at him to get him to stop, but that would be improper. Instead you ignored him, if he wanted your attention then he would have to do it the right way.
After finishing your meal, you could soon hear a band softly playing in the background. The lights dimmed as couples got out of their seats to go dance. Out of the corner of your eye you could see Obi-Wan and Ahsoka make eye contact before looking at Anakin, both internally contemplating if he would offer his hand to Padme. You were ready to call it a night when a hand appeared in your field of vision.
“Really, you want to dance with me?” You asked Wolffe sarcastically.
“I might be blind in one eye, but I know a pretty woman when I see one.” He replied.
“Alright, fine.” You huffed before reluctantly placing your hand on his, an action Anakin was not blind to. The two of you dance in silence, allowing the music to guide your steps.
“What’s wrong?” Wolffe said, breaking the silence. You let out a barely audible hm? Taken aback by his question. “Your face, you look sad. I didn’t notice earlier, but now that I’m standing this close to you I can see the tear marks on your face.” He brings one hand to your face, his finger lightly tracing over the mark.
What’re you doing? Anakin’s loud voice booms in your head. You jolt back, scared by the intrusion. Wolffe quickly apologizes, afraid he hadn’t respected your boundaries.
“No, your fine. I just thought I heard something.” You compose yourself before resuming your dance with him.
“I know we don’t know each other, but I just think it makes it all better. I know nothing about you and you know nothing about me. Tell me what’s on your mind, there’s no judgement here.” You take a good look at Wolffe, his face just one of the many. There was a certain softness in his eyes, almost like a mutual understanding. As if he shared the same pain as you do. There’s nothing else you could do but to trust him the way Padme had trusted you. You took his hand and led him outside towards a balcony.
Where do you think you're going? Anakin’s voice asked once again.
It’s none of your business. It hasn’t been since you decided to shut me out. You reply, you can feel Anakin’s anger begin to boil. You don’t dare to turn around and try to find him, afraid that your heart would break if you saw him dancing with Padme.
But you were right. Padme notices the slight shift in her husband's emotions. She wants nothing more in the whole galaxy than to be able to caress his cheek and kiss his forehead right now. But she can’t, not here at least. So for now, she plays the role of a Senator who is mindlessly dancing with her Jedi friend. She hopes that soon it will all return to normal. That Anakin will no longer lash out or change his mood so quickly, she hopes it’ll all be over soon. But deep down she knows it won’t, not in the way she wants it to end.
The cold Onderon air nips at you, goosebumps forming along your arms. The bustle of the city had subsided, it was nearly night time now. You were able to catch the sun setting, completely different from a sunset on Coruscant. Equally as beautiful though.
“When I arrived at the Jedi Temple, I wasn’t prepared to let go of everything I’ve come to know. I’m still not ready for it to happen, and if I’m gonna be honest I didn’t think I would have to.” You answered truthfully. “I wasn’t found as a youngling, I still have attachments to the people I love. The younglings were taught how to let go of those attachments while still being able to keep them in their hearts. But for me, I just feel like I’m losing my connection. Those people, they are my family, but they're not the people I want them to be. I want to know the feeling of having a mother or a father that is proud of you. But I don't, I never have. My family back home… they’re counting on me to do the right thing. And I’m trying to, but I’m afraid that if I see this out until the end, I will lose myself trying to save them.” Wolffe is looking at you the whole time you are speaking, never showing a lack of interest in the conversation. You lay your hands on the railing of the balcony and clasp them together.
“I lost someone close to me today. My friend, Peter, admitted that he loves me. I’m not sure for how long but all I knew was that I couldn’t reciprocate those feelings. I told him that I was already in love with someone else. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. How could I have fallen in love with someone I barely knew and not with someone I had known for years?” Tears slowly begin to leak from your eyes again, you gently wipe them away.
“How do you feel about this person though, the one you claim to love?” He asked
“He… he makes me feel things I’ve never felt before. He makes me feel like I’m actually living, not just surviving. That I have something to look forward to when I wake up every morning. He’s my other half, he completes me, I’m sure of it. Yet on the other hand, a part of me can’t help but feel guilty.”
“For what?” Wolffe inquired. You want to tell him that you shouldn’t have fallen in love with a married man. That you had known the fact that Anakin is married to Padme. Or the fact that they are expecting kids. Yet you can’t tell him. You don’t want to risk Anakin’s happiness just for the sake of yours. So you lie to him, straying further from the person you thought you were.
“....I feel like I’m replacing my family. What I’ve been tasked to do isn’t easy nor is it something I can do alone. I’m coming to realise that what they have asked me to do, might not be something I have the strength to do. But they’re counting on me, I can’t just sit around and watch the people that I love die. I won’t let it happen.” The cold air calms your burning lungs. It seems that you had overshared, just like Padme had. But there was no taking back what you already said.
“What about you? Is there something troubling you?” You asked, no longer wanting to talk about the situation. “Don’t lie either, I could see it in your eyes. There’s something on your mind.”
Wolffe copies your action, clasping his hands and setting them on the railing. He lets out a puff of air, not sure if he should disclose his problems to you. Then again, you had trusted him to listen to you. “I don’t know. I just can’t help but feel like there's something wrong. I’ve been having nightmares lately...about a mission. A horrible one.” He doesn’t go into much detail, afraid that you would’ve thought he was crazy if he had. Yet he didn’t need to because you know the very plot he’s talking about.
“I’m sure it won’t come true.” You reassured him. “You clones know right from wrong, I doubt that you would do something against your code.” They wouldn’t, they never would. The clones you’ve had the pleasure to work with during your time here were good men and were willing to do anything to save whoever they can. However, the chip in their head says otherwise.
“I know, but I feel like one day I’m just going to snap.” He says
“You won’t, I’ll make sure of it.” You offer him a small smile. Wolffe opens his mouth to question your statement, but you cut him off before he can continue. “I think I’m going to bed a little early tonight. Thank you for listening to me, Commander Wolffe. Have a good night.” You nod your head towards him and take your leave. Wolffe stays outside for a bit more, pondering your words, before heading back inside.
-
“You know, I think this is the first time we’ve danced together in public.” Padme says. She yearns for more moments like these. The ones where she and her husband can be together without it raising suspicions.
“Yeah, you’re right.” Anakin replies, too busy trying to focus on you rather than his wife. It was never his intention to shut you out, but with him being married and with a child along the way, what else was there to do? He couldn’t turn his back on Padme, not when he had promised to spend the rest of eternity with her. His mind was in utter chaos right now, dancing with Padme didn’t feel right anymore.
He keeps his eye on the exit where you and Wolffe had left, and when he sees you re-enter the ballroom alone he lets out a sigh of relief. Only to be filled with concern as he sees you walk up the steps to exit the ballroom. Padme notices that she doesn’t fully have the attention of her husband.
“What wrong, Ani?” She gently squeezes his shoulder, redirecting his gaze towards her.
“I’m alright, just a little tired.”
“Maybe you should get some rest then. You’ve seemed out of it the whole night.” Padme confesses. Anakin gives her a tight smile before removing himself from her.
“Your right, Senator Amidala. I hope you enjoy the rest of the celebration.” He says, giving her one last reassuring look before leaving too.
-
Of course, you weren’t tired. But you couldn’t spend another moment there. You wander around the halls aimlessly, occasionally looking at the portraits lining the walls. The sound of hurried footsteps alert you. You turn your head ever so slightly, hoping to see Anakin, only to find a man and a woman racing off to a room. The exhale that comes from you is loud and angry, yet also desperate.
“You think you can save him but you can’t. No one can.” Peter’s words ring clear in your head as you make your way back to your room. There was no use in trying to argue with him because you knew that he could possibly be right. But you weren’t going to let that stop you. After making it back to your room, you open the balcony windows and step outside. You breathe in the crisp Onderon air and take a moment to yourself. It was the first time you were truly alone since you had arrived on Coruscant. “You can’t change his destiny.” Fury be damned if he thought he could send you here, expecting you would just sit back idly and do nothing.
A gentle, hesitant knock on your door interrupts your internal scheming. You debate on whether you should go open it or not, ultimately deciding not to.
“Go away, please.” The knocking stops and you resume your plotting, only to get interrupted by a familiar presence. “I thought I told you to leave.”
“I know, but I wanted to explain some things to you.” Anakin says, swiftly leaning on the railing next to you. “When I first saw you, that night when you had come through that..portal thing, I felt strangely connected to you already. To be honest, I had never felt that way about anyone in my life, ever.”
Not even Padmé? You wanted to ask, but set that thought aside so he wouldn’t be able to hear you.
“It scares me. The way you make me feel. I can only describe it as finally feeling complete. As if we were a pairing forged together by the force itself.” He steps closer to you and rests his hands upon your shoulders. “You have awoken something within me that I cannot tame, you haunt my dreams at night. When I’m away from you everything seems to go bad. And I know I don’t deserve you, not after pushing you aside for all of these weeks.” As he speaks he slowly begins to trail his hands up from your shoulders to your face, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “Say the word and I’ll stay. Please, all I want is your love.”
It would be selfish of you to say yes. To be with someone who has already started a new life with another. But was this not your mission? Become close with Anakin and destroy Titan using the Death Star, if not for that, then what? Saying no would put a great challenge in your completion of the mission, but so would saying yes. Anakin begins to take your silence as a no, tentatively removing his arms from yours.
“If that’s what you want, then I will leave.” He says confidently, yet the look on his face betrays him. He is hurt by your lack of reciprocation.
The words come to you slowly as you stare at his retreating form, “You have lit an eternal fire in me that I can’t seem to put out” You confess. “When you’re near it only grows warmer and stronger. Your name is etched onto my heart, the very same way I’m sure mine is carved onto yours. Anakin Skywalker, you will haunt me until my dying days, and lifetimes after death. I’m sure of it.”
Your words stop Anakin in his tracks, mere centimeters away from leaving your life for good. “I ache for you, Anakin. Being away from you has been horrible. It's as if someone had thrown me into the depths of the coldest water. I never want to be away from you ever in my life.” Anakin turns to face you, his eyebrows raised in shock.
“Please, never do that to me again.” You whispered. He walks up to you and cups your face with both of his hands, his thumbs stroking your face.
“I won’t. I promise.” He lays his forehead on yours, the unspoken bond between the two of you strengthening.
“Do you remember the first day I arrived on Coruscant?” You asked him.
“Of course I do.” He said.
“You said that you had dreams of me. Of us. In a meadow.” You pause before continuing, “How long have you been dreaming of me?”
“All my life. I have been waiting for you all of my life.”
“Then why did you shut me out? I’ve spent the last two months thinking I had destroyed the bond we had just created.”
“The order..” he began, “if they find out about us, then everything that we have worked for will go down the drain. You’d have to begin training with a different Jedi, essentially starting over. Which is something you don’t have the time for.” He lied, Anakin hates himself for lying to you. For roping you into his illusion, but he couldn’t help it, he had to have you.
“But I couldn’t stay away from you any longer. It’s like you’ve been calling out to me- for me. The force has been urging me to go to you.” Anakin confesses.
“I guess the force works in mysterious ways.” You replied, a genuine smile on your face.
Anakin seems to be admiring your face before breaking out of his trance, “Oh, before I forget, I made you something.” He pulls a necklace out of his pocket before guiding the both of you towards a mirror in the corner of the room. You face the mirror and watch as Anakin sweeps all of your hair to one side. Just to make sure he gets every strand, he slowly drags his fingers from the right of your neck to its middle. You can’t help but shiver, his touch giving you goosebumps. Anakin takes notice of this, his eyes meeting yours in the mirror, his mouth pulled into his signature smirk.
He unclasps the hooks and lays it over your clavicle as you hold your hair in place. After clasping it back together, he traces the chain until he feels the cold pendant laying between your breast.
“Is this what I think it is?” You replied sarcastically as you gently gripped the object.
“I don’t know, why don’t you tell me what you think it is darling.” He teased back.
You were left in shock, did you really mean this much to him? “...is this a Kyber crystal, your Kyber crystal?”
“It was the only one that survived from my many broken sabers. I was saving it, I didn’t know what for, but now I do.” He said, he fixes your hair again before wrapping his hands around your stomach and laying his chin on your shoulder.
“Anakin, you didn’t have to-”
“But I wanted to, so you would always have a piece of me with you.” He replies, cutting you off before you can even finish.
“I don’t have anything I could give to you.” You said.
“It’s okay. You don’t need to give me anything. I have you, and that’s all I need.”
“Are you sure?” You weren’t too sure yourself what you had just questioned him about: if he was sure that you didn’t need to give him anything or if you were all he needed. Either way he answers your question by giving you a nod. Your eyes dart across his reflection until your eyes finally meet, a lightbulb going off in your head.
“Actually there is something I could give you.” You suggested before turning around and snaking your arms around his neck, his curls tickling your fingers. Your watch as Anakin's eyes shift towards your lips, you slightly tilt your head and move in closer. Just before Anakin can seal the kiss, you pull back, “A dance.”
“Really? You want to dance right now?” He croaked, confusion written across his face.
“Why not? It’s the perfect setting. There’s a nice breeze, the moon is out and I have the perfect song for it too.” You offer, not bothering to wait for his reply as you take off your other necklace. You were bored a couple of days ago and decided to mess around with the small device. You eventually found out that you had access to FRIDAY and basically the internet as long as you were on a planet that the device could connect to. You didn’t know how it worked but you assumed it worked the same way that Bluetooth did. You scroll through your playlist before clicking play.
The soft tunes of Keep Me by Novo Amor had begun to play in the background as you made your way back to your love. You take his hands and place them on your back as you clasp your hands around his neck. You could hear Kaytee shifting around before letting out a series of beeps.
“Well, seems like we’re not the only ones elated about this.” Anakin said, referring to the excited droid. The two of you continue to slow dance to the song, basking in the glorious moonlight. Right now the only thing that mattered was you and him. You didn’t have to worry about Peter, or the mission, or Padme. It was how you always wanted it to be.
“Will you keep me on fire, Anakin?” You asked softly, caring not to disturb the environment you had created.
“I promise to try my best. And to not burn you while I’m at it.” He replied before leaning in, you met him halfway, his soft lips now upon yours. You kiss him once, twice, and thrice more before pulling away.
“If we are to continue tonight, there’s something I need to tell you.”
“Anything.” He nods assuringly, slowly rubbing his hands up and down your back.
“Y/N. My name is y/n. Not Alyra.” You had hoped that he wouldn't question why you went by an alias.
“Okay….y/n” He said, your name falling off of his lips effortlessly. You let out a small laugh, happy that you had finally heard him say your name. He leans in to kiss you again whilst sliding his hands lower. You can’t help but let out a yelp when he grabs your ass, he seizes his opportunity and slides his tongue into your mouth. He regretfully pulls himself away from your lips, only to place them on your neck. Soon the two of you find yourself at the edge of your bed.
“Y/n” he whispers into your ear, making you shiver. “Y/n.” He nips at your neck. “Y/n.”
Anakin pushes you onto the bed, his lips moving to your neck as you struggle to catch your breath. His prosthetic hand resting on your hip, his other hand reaching up behind you to unzip your dress.
“No bra, just for me?” You let out a snicker before redirecting his lips to yours. He goes to pull off your dress while you discard him of his jedi robes. Anakin takes a good look at you, nearly naked with a thin piece of cloth covering your bottom half. Before either of you proceed, he gently grips your face with both of his hands.
“Are you sure this is what you want?” His eyes stare into yours, searching for any sign of hesitation. The glimmer of moonlight shining through the windows allows him to make out your face in the dark.
“More than anything.” For the first time, you fully give yourself to someone. You don’t hold it back, or shy away. He makes you, you. Utterly and completely you. It wasn’t the same as when you fucked others, this was different.
Anakin looks at you intently as he enters you and sets his tantalizing pace, he watches as you roll your head back in bliss. Your arms automatically go to his back, leaving red scratches. But he doesn’t care, not as long as he’s with you. Your name leaves his lips once more as you moan his, spurring him on.
This wasn’t fucking. This was something else, something different. It was two souls finally being completed and formed into one, bound together for the rest of eternity.
Anakin falls on top of you as you run the tips of your finger along his back, the both of you covered in a thin layer of sweat. How long had it been since the celebration ended? “We should get some sleep.” You replied, holding back a yawn. He nods and pulls you into his chest. His flesh hand wrapped around you as his other hand goes to play with your hair.
“As much as I enjoy this, I meant separately. Someone could walk in at any moment. Force knows if it was Jar Jar he wouldn’t be able to keep his big mouth shut.” You listen to the beating of his heart, his chest vibrating from the small laugh he lets out.
“I know. I’ll be gone before the sun rises. For tonight I want to be next to you, my love.” You look up at him only to find him already staring at you, he bore a dopey smile and his eyes held adoration. You give him a smile of your own and return your gaze to the view outside your window. Anakin’s breathing and the music softly playing in the background lulling you to sleep.

The pounding on your door is loud, not giving you a chance to properly wake up. You rush to put on some clothes as you tell the person you’d be there in a second. The knocking doesn’t seize, but seems to become more urgent.
“Hurry up, Alyra! We have no time to waste.” Obi-Wan’s panicked voice rang out. Your eyes widen in shock, you had never heard him in a state of urgency like this before. After throwing on your robe and clasping your saber to your belt, you open the door.
“We need to go now, leave your belongings. Padme will take care of them.” He said as he turned around, Anakin right by his side giving you a sly smirk.
“Why? What’s happening? Why are we leaving so early?” You questioned him. You think back to the time you watched The Clone Wars back on Earth. If you hadn’t adequately fucked anything up yet, this could only mean one thing.
“We’re going to Mandalore. The life of Duchess Satine is in danger.”

re: that little darklina prompt/line you posted that you said was the plot of mizpah.
i am now Worried as to whom would it apply to: would it be the darkling and alina, or the darkling and the reader? i hope to god it's not the latter; i'm not prepared for angst.
