I will also be keeping up with a master list for Tooth and claw and my other little drabbles!!

My favorite trope is loner x outgoing- especially when it’s WLW.. like imagine :

You are an only child whose been pushed to the side and really don’t have anyone to lean on so your always alone which just slowly morphed into you preferring being alone. All for when you go to college, you meet this girl. She is the complete opposite of you- outspoken, seeks people out as where you avoid people and she for some reason latched onto you.

So now you are spending all of your time dodging her attempts to be your friend because why would you need a friend when everything goes smoother when you’re on your own. But this girl is pushy and observant. Going as far as bribing you with sweets and your favorite wine. Before you even realize it, you start enjoying how it feels to have someone in your life.

Oh wait!! I know why this is my fav trope. BECAUSE ITS THE MAIN TROPE IN THE FIC IM WRITING ON AO3 😼😼

Just thinking of if Jacob saw a bite mark on your neck-

You were trying to cook but per usual Jacob was glued to your side- you almost tripped over him at one point. None of this was odd behavior for your friend, you were use to his clingyness. But he kept sniffing you and squinting his eyes like if he squinted hard enough whatever was ticking him off would pop out in his face. “Do you have a new perfume?” Jacob mused, a sigh fell from your lips as you shook her head. “No Jake for the fifth time no.” There was no hiding the sharpness in your tone. Jacob didn’t look convinced. But he dropped the topic.

You thought you got out of the hot seat until later on that night when washing dishes, he hovered- the constant presence was annoying mainly because right now, your main goal was to keep distance from him. He just kept huffing and sniffing you. So it’s not fully your fault when you turn towards him, hair flipping behind your shoulder in the process and snapped at him. “God back off Jacob, just stop breathing down my neck!”

That was when he spotted it, suddenly all of your weird new smells and just overall on edge behavior made sense. So as his eyes locked onto the inflamed bite mark on your neck, he didn’t lean away as you instructed. His nose flared defensively as he poked at the blooming mark delicately. “Who did that.” His voice was a snarl, eyes sharp as he spoke again. “Which one of those blood suckers did this?” You stilled under his touch, his harsh tone made you flinch, you had enough sense to not push his touch away- didn’t stop a lie from slipping of your tongue. “It’s just a hive.” “Bullshit.” He leaned in basically pressing his nose to the bite then pulling back with a grimace. “You reek of them. Did you just allow this or-.“ You couldn’t help yourself from pushing him away this time. “Just mind your business.” “It is my business- my entire existence as a shifter is to protect people from those disgusting creatures and your my friend. So it’s fully my business, that-.” He waved his finger at the bite. “Also breaks the treaty so give me answers now.”

“Housekeeping” for Tooth and claw aka a.. Overview for the story:

Tillia, a freshman in college, moves away from her small town to an even smaller town in Washington, hoping to finally find freedom and work towards her dream of owning a vineyard and making wine, only for her dreams to get thrown off track by a family secert and a love she never thought she wanted.

The main character :

Tillia a freshman in college whose is mixed with Asian and Russian, she comes off as very rude which she very may well be but it comes from a place of wanting to protect her peace 🙀🙀

The mains character one and only friend :

Monisha is also a freshman in college whose an Black American, though to some she may be annoying… once you look past the fact she never stops talking lol she is an amazing and complex gal 😼😼

Main key points to keep in mind!!

- The story takes place in 2000’s

- Not everything is how it seems 🙀🙀

Also I am very new to writing and am busy with college so my writing may take a while and be shaky 😭😭
