Anarch Brujah and descendant of Melene, he runs a nightclub called "Friday with Leave" with his ghoul and his coterie. His more of the social type, avoids fights anytime he can, mostly because he sucks at fighting

Elena

Malkavian neonate from the Camarilla and a descendant of Vasantasena, she's friend of a mage. She's my most played vampire character. Currently is messing around mages, trying to not get killed by werewolves, and attending silly kindred parties

A Gargoyle and Follower of the Via Caeli, was made during the 1600s as a wooden idol of a saint, currently is living as an Independent kindred and traveling the world on a ship of vampires, their name comes from the patron saint of sailors

Nosferatu ancilla of the Camarilla, in his mortal life he was a university professor. His aspect is the result of very bad luck with the clan's bane, and from drinking a lot of Gangrel and Tzimisce vitae during the sect wars. Currently is working with the Camarilla to control a demon attack

Charactaer's Theme: Cambalache (Jumble) - Julio Sosa

Osvaldo

Hecata of the Giovanni Bloodline, he discovered vampires while being a mortal detective, was forced into become kindred and ended up killing his sire and running away, currently is working as an independent mercenary while hiding from the Hecata. Has fought werewolves a couple of times and the experience convinced him to get a silver sword

Character's Theme: Caruso - Luciano Pavarotti

Raquel

Toreador ancilla of the Camarilla and a member of the Nephilim, she was a painter when mortal. Now as a vampire her sire has taught her Chimerstry as a way to rebuild the Nephilim bloodline. Currently is working as Hound for the local Sheriff and as assistant of the Archons

Character's Theme: If You Are Gone - Nina Mya

Bínah

Mage of the Order of Hermes, specifically of the House Quaesitor, she's a law graduate, student of Gnosticism, and is also trained in sword fighting. Lost an eye because of a Paradox backlash, currently is investigating demonic activity (yep, that's the same demons Ezequiel is fighting, but from the mage's perspective)

Gallo the Pelea (The Fighting Rooster, aka. Yiyi)

Mage of the Akashic Brotherhood, he's a chef on a small restaurant. This may be my most powerful character, he has survived to 7 consecutive gun shots during a fight, has been set on fire, and has killed 2 Black Spiral Dancers. He likes Bruce Lee's movies and Dragon Ball, currently is recovering from a raid on a Pentex facility

Also his Avatar is sentient and kinda weird, his name is Basilio and is a giant chicken-person that torments him to become a better mage.

Mage of the Euthanatos, she's a funeral officiant and a Sin-eater, she mixes Christian practices with beliefs of the native peoples and European esoterism, lives from making different kinds of religious ceremonies. Currently is traveling the countryside looking for when her services are needed

So of course like any neurotypical person, of which I totally am (sarcasm), i had to go check. Y'all. I do not want the "Culvers Denver Mass Transmutation Circle Event of 2025" to become the way we learn magic is real.

It could be a coincidence or an incomplete circle, but a 7 pointed stars are also a more versatile symbol for alchemy

Common alchemy uses the 7 pointed star to represent the combination of the three prime elements (sulfur, mercury, salt), and the four classical elements (air, fire, water, earth)

It could also be used in astrology to represent the 7 classical planets or their counterpart as the planetary metals (moon/silver, sun/gold, mercury/quicksilver, venus/copper, mars/iron, jupiter/tin, saturn/lead)

It is also a symbol of spiritual relevance in Kabbalist belief that has repurposed with other occult and pagan movements as a sort of spiritual seal or a symbol of protection

If the heptagram is used for a more general or simpler use it could also explain the imperfect geometry on the map, as they wouldn't need exact precision to meet their needs

I made some homebrew for Werewolf the Apocalypse

hello hello, I'm back with another untested, but hopefully fun homebrew, this time a new type of fera for WtA 20a. If you want to go directly to the cool stuff it's below the cut.

I personally like to play WoD games set in my country, or in places I personally know. In the case WtA that's a big problem because they are no wolves were I live (*), and eurocentrism is already a big problem in WoD, so I did the most rational thing and made my own take on local shapeshifters.

(*) While planning this I discovered that foxes in South América are not actual foxes, instead they are part of a different animal genus more closely related to wolves. So I use them as the base for my new Fera, a type of half wolf-half fox kind of shapeshifter, and using their scientific naming for their different categories.

Also no new Gifts or Rites here, instead this homebrew uses those from the official W20 books, indicating where to find any of them respectively.

Lycalopex

Fake foxes, Southern Foxes, War Foxes

The Lycalopex are a type of fera from South America, technically they are an offshoot of the Garou, but adapted to their environment with fox-like traits, fulfilling the roles of both Garou and Kitsune in the regions where neither of them are native. Some people say they are wolves who possess the spirit of foxes.

Traits

Just by looking at them, Lycalopex are almost indistinguishable from Kitsune, their animal features are just like those of foxes. Only another Lycalopex, Kitsune, or someone who has closely met both would be able to tell the difference.

Despite their looks, Lycalopex are physically closer to a Garou, they absorb and regenerate damage in the same way as werewolves, they are weak to silver and don’t possess any of the special traits of Kitsune. Their forms are named just like Garou’s, they have a slender and smaller frame, they are not as strong as werewolves, but what they lack in strength is compensated with faster movements, quick reflexes and sharper senses.

Glabro: +1 Strength, +1 Dexterity, +1 Stamina, -1 Manipulation, -1 Appearance Crinos: +3 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +3 Stamina, -3 Manipulation, Appearance =0, +1 Perception Hispo: +2 Strength, +3 Dexterity, +2 Stamina, -2 Manipulation, +1 Perception. Bite attacks have +1 damage, and Perception checks have -1 difficulty Lupus: +1 Strength, +4 Dexterity, +1 Stamina, -1 Manipulation, +2 Perception. Perception checks have -2 difficulty

Renown

The Lycalopex use a Renown system that takes from both Garou and Kitsune, they value Cunning, Glory, and Wisdom. In game terms use the same Renown and Rank rules used for common Garou, with the replacement of Honor for Cunning in all instances (Rewards for Cunning are available in the W20: Changing Breeds, p. 219).

Character Creation

Lycalopex have their own type of Breeds, Auspice, and Tribes. They do not possess their own lists of Gifts, instead each trait gives access to an already made Gift list (consult the W20 Rulebook, or W20: Changing Breeds sourcebook for the details of any given Gift list).

It is discouraged to take the Pure Breed background for. Garou Fetishes and Rites are all available. Characters may get access to Kitsune Fetishes and Rites at the Storyteller’s discretion. In the case of taking the Totem background, Lycalopex favor the totems of Cunning, while totems of Respect are usually restricted.

Depending on their Breed, Lycalopex get access to both the Garou Gift list (W20 Rulebook, p. 152-161), and their Kitsune equivalent (W20: Changing Breeds, p. 131-132).

Homid / Kojin: Gnosis 2

Lupus / Roko: Gnosis 5

Metis / Shinju: Gnosis 4

Auspice

Use the same Auspices and Gift lists of the Garou, changing the beginning Renown of Honor for Cunning, and the initial Rage for the one given below (W20 Rulebook, p. 161-172).

Territory: Fields and lowlands at the center of the continent, from Argentina to Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Brazil

Initial Willpower: 3

Gift List: Same as the Nuwisha (W20: Changing Breeds, p. 171-175), excluding Gifts of the Umbral Dansers

Culpeo

Territory: Andean mountain range in all its extension, encompassing Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina

Initial Willpower: 3

Gift List: Same as the Silent Striders (W20 Rulebook, p. 191-195)

Fulvipes

Territory: Southern archipelago of Chile

Initial Willpower: 5

Gift List: Same as the Gukutsushi (W20: Changing Breeds, p. 134)

Griseus

Territory: Plateaus and valleys around the Argentinian and Chilean Mountains

Initial Willpower: 3

Gift List: Same as the Doshi (W20: Changing Breeds, p. 132-133)

Sechura

Territory: Lowlands and coasts of Ecuador and Perú

Initial Willpower: 4

Territory: Open areas within Brazil, limited between the coasts and the Amazon rainforest

I feel anything a Ravnos can do, other clans can do better

Maybe going for Animalism+Presence?? It's the only discipline combo that no other clans have
