- My gf is an alien (the whole make hormone is a drug and the thing she dropped makes her smell his chest thing was ridiculous but I liked when they grabbed his legs and made a scene, but his kind and helps her anyway, also her friendship with his brother - they have the same energy and I’m living for it, and that he saw her stop time and use telekinesis and he was just like “well, I know you’re hiding in here”, him being protective older brother and how quickly he cared about her and was always worried, also with was the “dolls kissing” scene, how quickly he chose making sure she’s not hurt over an important meeting)

- My love enlighten me (disappointing, I liked the will you marry me and registry, him calling her a cat, but they have not resolved their issues or talked it out so it would just repeat itself, some misunderstandings never been cleared, and the way they get back together feels weird and sztuczne)(but most of the time I liked the best friend)

The goal is to make the show seem as what-the-hell-is-going-on-in-there/what-kind-of-a-fever-dream-is-it as possible.

Chronologically speaking

- the main character (MC) sleeps with and has a son with the the pre-previous incarnation of the female character (FMC),

- then the previous incarnation of her gets in a relationship with the MC’s father,

- then the FMC’s and MC’s son gets murdered when the MC is like 8 years old

- then the FMC’s current incarnation and MC meet for the first time and later try dating but then the MC gets murdered

- then the MC shoots a guy causing an explosion that causes some temporal whatever time travel thingy

- then the FMC comes back but as a new incarnation; except it turns out she was faking it to save the MC’s life

- then the original incarnation of the FMC takes over her body

- but then her and the current incarnation get split into two people

-but then they get put back together into one person but with FMC as the only personality

- then the FMC’s father who is a supervillain murders her mother

- then he makes a copy of the FMC for her boyfriend bc he wants to take the original FMC to an alternate world so she’d help him get revenge on his enemies

- but then the father sees that the MC would die for the FMC so he willingly gets himself locked in a magic prison except for the prison to activate the FMC has to be inside so she gets locked too

- but then like month later she comes back to her boyfriend as a new incarnation having no memory of it all ever happening.

Reading a DW book is so weird for me bc on one hand I don’t want to stop reading and I love the jokes and I want to understand all the references and comments but on the other hand my head hurts after a few pages bc I have to think so much and still don’t understand what the hell does the sentence mean but also half of the time I’m in love with what I’m reading and the other half I’m bored with it and I like the characters but I’m so annoyed with them and also the plot is just a vague concept in like half of the books and then I get tired of the series and then I stumble upon a quote somewhere on the internet and fall in love with the books all over again

There are so many posts in the style of “a conversation between those characters would be epic” and it’s like Sherlock, Dr House, Sheldon and so on.

But you know what I think would be epic?

A book written by both sir Terry Pratchett and J. R. R. Tolkien. The sheer amount of language stuff with one of them writing footnotes all the time and another inventing languages, along with the world building and both of them referencing mythologies and so many other aspects…

No i do not know how they’d resolve their differences but I sure would love to see/read it.

My crush on a guy is getting worse again (I keep thinking about him and imagining meting him and other scenarios in my head despite the fact I haven’t seen him in over two months and the only two times we messaged like five messages during that time we exchanged was when he needed something for a document) so I’m currently rewatching He’s just not that into you bc I feel like I really need to memorise Alex’s speech and replay it in my head on a loop

Hi, I need help figuring out what movie/show the line is from. It went something like this:

“I did my homework. Actually, [name] did it, has been doing it since [grade/time].”

It might not have been word for word like that but very close to it. I tried searching any way I could but no luck. Please tell me someone here knows what show or movie it is from.

I think the context is pretty much in the line but basically the character saying it is talking to somebody and is using the “I did my homework” as an expression, but corrects that actually the person who really did all the work is sb else - his best friend - and that the friend has been doing his actual homework for years.

Unfortunately I don’t remember anything else but I know I’ll recognise the scene if I see it.

All I want is to have this thing that makes you a part of a group whether you want to or not bc you have a common secret or you’re just in the know of something so you’re bound together even if you don’t get along. Like I just want to be a part of the group like that, I want to be inside the circle, I want to be in the middle of something and people coming up to me saying that sth urgent came up and we have to go, I just want this. And I don’t even care what the group is about. It can be about mermaids (like in H2O), or werewolves (Teen Wolf), witches (Charmed), or vampires (TVD); it can be supernatural stuff (BTVS) or just some weird drama (PLL) or a damn crime (HTGAWM), I don’t care, I just want to be a part of it.

Also, I know I was in some students societies or in the board but as it turns out it is possible to have very little contact and only about the things that need to be done and it’s just not enough; but the groups I mentioned, they always end up more integrated in the lives of others bc of that something they have in common, that one thing that binds them.

Okay fandom side of tumblr I need your help

So a few days ago I saw this pin on Pinterest where it looked like it was just a few shots from a tv show. The dialogue on the shots went something like this:

Now, for the life of me I can’t find this pin and I can’t find this quote and I NEED to know what it’s from but I’ve tried everything I could think of and I came up with nothing so I’m starting to think that it was one of those incorrect quotes thingies where they put shots from one show but write different dialogues but I don’t know. I hope it’s from an actual show but so far I haven’t had any luck finding it so please, please tell me someone here knows this dialogue/exchange and can tell me what it’s from.

So I’ve just reread The Selection and I know I’m not the target audience so ignoring most of the things I didn’t like but why did Maxon need her to be in danger/almost die to change his mind (again) about who he’s going to marry?

I really don’t like it when they need this sort of a reminder/wake up call that they want to be with the girl/love her

I’m not sure why but I love chaotic energetic impulsive people who may be a bit unhinged and who are like “doing stuff without thinking and acting crazy (I don’t mean it in a bad way I just don’t have a better word for it right now) and having lots of manic energy that goes to the first idea they have but it’s just having fun and being an action person” so so much like:

I’m rewatching SPN, my favourite seasons, and I’m at the beginning of season three and once again I’m just loving how the brothers care about each other and how much they are willing to sacrifice for the other. I mean, with Dean it is a bit obvious cause he’s always done that, after all he always says his job is to take care of Sam, so the fact that he made a deal wasn’t surprising, but I kinda love his behaviour, like when he said he’d stop Sam if he tried to break the deal bc if it happens Sam dies. I know we know he’d say that and follow through but I still love him being protective. But one thing also love is that Sam upon learning this fact kept trying to find a way, that he was willing to do it anyway to save Dean.

(Which is why I love these first few episodes so much and I hated when later the brothers grew apart and fought and the whole Sam-drinks-blood thing in s4 and all that)
