Hi, thanks for checking in this humble page of mine. It's my personal space, which means I'll treat it like my room: random things scattered and no filters.
No, that doesn't mean it's a 18+ space
Also doesn't mean it's a minor 'safe' space
It's kind of a limbo.
I won't, like, share straight up porn, but it doesn't mean it can't happen. I WILL talk about adult fandoms on occasion (I did had a 'What in Hell is Bad' phase, and if you know how messed up the game is you know what I mean), but most of my interests are PG stuff (because I'm mostly a cute person).
Just be warned in case you are a minor because I am an adult, but human: I can fumble on occasion and say something inappropriate. But not out of malice.

Some other notable stuff:
- about the top of the page: those were fandoms I engage/used to engage. The archive means I don't talk about them anymore but I won't be erasing content from it of my page;
- I no longer support or engage with Pressure. I don't care about who was right, I just don't want to deal with the stress the fandom gave me;
- the others on the archive category is simply because the interest died out;
- As any other decent Tumblr place, I do not tolerate meanies. That means homophobes, transphobes, predators... you get it;
- I have the tendency to use "bro" to everyone, regardless of gender identity... kinda an internet habit. So if that ends up bothering you, please communicate with me :3

I would make a Pretrova Line one but I wanted some shiny red beads for it T-T like, I could just make a REALLY long one but it would be boring regular red beads.
During first season, the king was able to exert a sort of passive influence over the people around John and Arthur to make them go crazy and attack them in a rage.
This seems to stop in the later seasons, with Arthur saying he thinks the King gave up and isn't after them anymore. No one else flies into a manic rage in Arthur's presence.
However, there is a different emotion that characters seem to feel very strongly out of nowhere.
Oscar, whose only previous experience with Arthur was being threatened by him, trusts Arthur enough to tell him about his traumatic backstory and is literally calling Arthur "his purpose" within two days of meeting the guy.
Noel immediately trusts Arthur despite hearing him mere minutes ago admit to "at least" seven murders.
The Butcher literally says he falls in love with his victims and switches to Arthur's side after Arthur got him jailed and prodded at his Daddy issues.
I think the people around Arthur are still being influenced... but not by the King in Yellow; They're being influenced by John.
John's emotions for Arthur are literally spilling out and effecting those around him to trust him and seek guidance and tell him what a great guy he is, that he's special and amazing. It explains why so many different people and entities get immediately obsessed with Arthur after just one meeting. It's because John is obsessed with Arthur.
And you call it madness... ah, but I call it love.

I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME OF A PLAY I HAD TO READ ON COLLEGE
Okay, so, Pygmalion. The flower girl play. Bro, Avery is now reminding me SO MUCH of Eliza.
You live your life. Everyone considers you "inferior" (Eliza speech/Avery's race), but you wish to learn more. You find a mentor, but he is mean and treats you as less even though he teaches you a lot (Higgins/Hastur). There is also this other figure that also works as a mentor, but teaches you about respect and being a person (Pickering/Derek).
After a lot of work, you do learn a lot and is able to "improve" in life (being seen as a lady/seen as a "person"[still under work tho...]), but no matter what you do, you never will truly belong to this place: your experiences and formative years were in a different place compared to where you stand now, and it shows when you interact with others. But you can't also return to where you belonged before because you are too different.
You are stranded between two worlds.
You don't belong anywhere and have to try and create your own place.
