when i was like 3 a neurologist said that i'm probably autistic, but refused to diagnose and said to not get a diagnosis "unless" it gets in the way. My parents hid this from me for 12 years. It started getting in the way when i was like 8.

That sucks! I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. I hope things are better now.

mom lied on autistic diagnosis forms because i dont “act like [autistics]”

the forms were ableist too in many ways but one i remember is describing meltdowns as “still has tantrums”

YAy!!! Im very excited to announce this blog! i worked for a while on it (and by that i mean my executive dysfunction got me and i didnt do anything up until today, where i did basically everything to finish it)

ANYWAYS, the basic point of this blog is a place for autistic (official dx or self dx) to 1 vent about allistic people and 2 showcase people being ableist (cough cough autism moms cough)

also im a very tired and forgetful person so i will be accepting more mods soon! probably 2-3!
