Something about Finn's acting tells me he didn't know how Mike was feeling about El mostly of s4 and s5. That's why his acting with Millie is kind of off most of the time.

But if you see, in episode 8, he finally acts in one determined direction towards Millie, and his lines are delivered in a better way. Now I know it was because the scripts weren't ready, he didn't f*cking know until last minute what was going on in Mike's head according to the writers.

He had his own idea, or kind of. Now, compare that with how he acted with Noah. It had more intention and the dialogues were delivered with more confidence. He knew what he was doing most of the time.

I don't know if it was because Mike is naturally caring with Will, or he indeed thought Mike was in love with Will too. I go a little more to the second one, because of the field scene and the consistent eye acting. Also the fact that he didn't need a CGI to cry in the coming out scene.

God, Finn got Mike so well. It's so sad.

I think I said it before, I don't care what they say at this point, Byler was going to happen. It makes sense in a lot of ways, especially the final battle. So, if they say otherwise, they're lying, we'll know sooner or later.

It's sad they didn't do it, I can swear they'll regret it deeply. But it's not like I want them too. I don't care about them anymore, I do care about the characters they stopped caring about. And the actors that loved said characters too.

So, for me, Byler was canon. They just deserved more determined people to be in charge.

And well, seems like Will didn't go crazy together with Mike, but the the rest of the world kind of did, what are the odds.

Guys, did a Byler made the conformity-gate theory? To be honest, I'm supporting it because it's good, but I don't believe is happening.

But, for the name and the way is done, I was wondering if it was a Byler doing. As how is connected with Mike.

This is huge for me. And actually made me smile.

And if it's not. I'm still having fun reading about it. It just healed me a little.

Guys, I'm still mourning tbh, but I want to tell you something that could cheer us up.

If you're a writer, you probably know this already.

Characters have a heart on their own, when you write a character, sometimes you think what you want them to do in the story, but somehow you're inspired to write or put them in different situations for some reason.

That's the character's heart speaking, and when you don't follow their heart, that's when some things look forced.

And my friends, that's Byler and Mike Wheeler mainly.

That character was forced to whatever they did to him, and that's why people lost interest in him. They do believe he loves El, and that's how it's supposed to be, but it's not shaped like that (Neither El's love for him). The crew, the actors, even the script somehow got inspired by Mike's own heart. And I think it's stronger than Will's.

I'm not talking only about his feelings for Will, but in this case, I'll focus on that.

Mike and Will were shaped to be together. And that's why even in the end, Finn's acting shows what it shows for me.

The universe made them to be together, they just fell in the wrong storytellers at the end.

But hey, that's why we have AO3. Sometimes the fans get to know better the character than the own person that wrote them, because they get to love said character more.

I don't care what they're saying out there. A part of them know this. They know, as a writer you know something is off.

And guys, I don't regret coming here and living all these moments with you! My heart is broken, because I have one hahaha. We all do. We loved Mike and Will's story. So, of course is going to hurt.

Glad to know Noah felt it. (And I believe a part of Finn did too)

as messy as that coming out scene was, i still stand by the fact that it was important for the other characters as well as will.

the choice on whom the camera zooms in on during each line reflects what that person is (mostly) scared of facing. but will was the first to admit his biggest, most personal secret to everyone, which was essential for the other characters' self reflection too. *especially* a certain repressed white boy with internalised homophobia and a fuckass beanie.

Dynamite job making connections here. I didn't notice how different parts of his coming out had callbacks or connections with the various other characters. It makes the coming out scene look a lot better, in retrospect, if it resonated with everyone in some way because it highlights the whole idea that Will is "different" but not so different that the others don't understand. It highlights their similarities, just like Will was saying at the beginning of it when he was going on about all the things they like to do together.

And was Mike really half cropped out of the shot when Will said "just not like you guys?" Because that's pretty wild if so.

And, if we're right, he's reaching his limit.

Noah saying something like “okay I’ll just say it here, this line was an special moment for Will and Mike-” and then getting silenced until he flipped the page to the last part.

Stop with the mistery already. I’m so tired.

But I did kind of get to love the scene thanks to that video. They did put care on Will’s arc. I made my peace with the Duffers… for now.

So, putting it simple, the one that opened Will’s door at this point was just Kali.

Yeah, she can’t open doors, the demogorgon didn’t need the door to open, it could just destroy it.

She just made him think it was opening.

I don’t hate Kali. I mean, Brenner used her, El and Henry as lab rats, she could actually see Henry as a victim too (or being controlled by Vecna, she was tortured while being trapped where she was, can’t blame her fr)

Can we please upvote that episode? let's do something, are you serious? we cannot let the only coming out scene from Will having a 5 rating, c'mon guys.

Put a 10, I never use that page, but today I did, I'm so sad for how the story is being written, but I cannot let that episode being a 5, it's ridiculous! it's not that bad in general to have a 5, and people are blaming on bylers.

I don't think Bylers are doing that, you need an account and you can just vote once. I think it's the general audience more than anything. Please let's do something.

About Will's monologue.

I did find it weird? when he mentioned Melvald's milkshakes, I was like: when did that happen? Melvald's is a General Store, where Joyce works! He had so many things he could have mentioned, ice creams at scoops ahoy or the movies, and that line took me out, but as there were so many confusing dialogues I just ignored it.

But! of course, then someone on TikTok mentioned it, Melvalds did have milkshakes, in the 50's. Joyce should know this do' she worked there then too (in The First Shadow)

The reason I'm mentioning this now, is that picture above.

When the demo almost attacked Mike, I was so focused on Melvads being behind him thiking if it had a meaning it was there. Now I wonder if the reason is actually relevant.

I think we gave so much credit to the writers, but each beautiful detail we saw about Mike and Will until now (and I know we have too many) I think this was the universe doing then, you know?

Like a force of gravity kind of thing? It was put all together for a reason. So beautifully done, and it probably wasn’t just in the right hands at the end.

But it was done, and I’m happy we saw it. The Mike and Will the universe tried to give us is there. So, what I wanna say is, you see something that did exist for a reason. And I’m glad we were enjoying it together.

Let’s keep enjoying it between us, in the extend we can.
