chat, how do you cope with the thoughts that you'll never be the first choice to your current friend group, that they never text you first and never truly engage with the interests that you are very excited to talk about? is. is this me doing things wrong or. whah.

watching my favorite movie ever with neurotypical people while being neurodivergent is so surreal. me and my parents finally sat down to watch project hail mary yesterday. i count it as a win already that they liked it at all in the end, since they are very difficult people, but even before that.

they clearly do not engage with the characters like i do. they asked "why do you cry here [grace testing taumœba scene] if u know that everything will be good?" they will not spend the night thinking about grace's and rocky's relationship, about what stratt meant for the world, about the eridians in general, about... anything else, really. it was just "a very cute and hopeful movie" for one evening and thats everything its ever going to be to them, not something rewriting their entire psychology.

The paradox of my Starkid Hatchetfield journey is very funny.

I say that TGWDLM is my favorite musical and sing (ha) so many praises to it, and Pokotho is my favorite Lord in Black, and I can spend hours talking about The Implications and all, but I cannot listen to its soundtrack on repeat in the backround, except from maybe Inevitable and Join Us & Die. Maybe because its full of villain songs, it recquires either a certain mood, or, due to its structure, it recquires to be watched in full.

The Hatchetfield musical that I CAN listen like that? Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Seriously, it has almost zero skippable songs, and its the only Hatchetfield instance that (to me) ever has a happy ending. Also it has all Lords in Black! I love Lords in Black!

Which sometimes makes me think I am larping when saying all that stuff about Guy. Or maybe I am just overthinking things and have two most favorite comfort musicals for different moods. Brain do be weird.

... Black Friday is still the worst out of the main three tho.

Rigel works in the IT department of CCRP thanks to Ted. She also likes musicals, hence her and Paul's antagonism at first, but they come to terms eventually, and develop feelings for each other. Emma in this bunch of timelines is just a friend to both of them, albeit a very close one. They meet almost in all timelines, except from "Forever and Always".

I also use this Rigel to selfship with Pokotho himself, she is, somehow, his second favorite human after Paul. And Pokey is my favorite Lord in Black, teehee.

its so funny to see deltarune fanbase shipping gaster with the soul/player because he thinks it is this divine eldritch being when in reality the person behind the screen that gaster is trying to woo is a scrawny wet cat possibly autistic regularest ahh guy ever

i really want to selfship with paul matthews (regular and infected) again so badly i love him so much and he is so important to me but because of emma and the way they are about each other i feel like i'm infringing on their relationship and take away from paulkins shippers augh

Not a Blellow artist, but this is fun pop quiz. Since my media literacy/analysis skills are shit, let's see. I see too much of myself in Yellow specifically, to the point when I saw him I went "wow is that how I look to the outside world?" so to the first I'm gonna try saying very very strong scrupulosity/moral OCD thing with intrusive thoughts, that stand upon the fact that Yellow is supposed to represent Justice, which he has limited understanding of (the most he probably got was from the stories Asgore read to him), and his mind has like. Developed a set of rules to follow. "Doing bad things is bad, someone doing bad things should be punished. I did a bad thing, or I think I did a bad thing, which means I have to be punished accordingly." Happens to the best of us, many such cases. (points at myself.)

... I have no comments on the second one tho, it do be funny as hell. But also they're all flawed in the traits they're supposed to represent, cuz they are only trying to be human? So maybe there's that.
