Ronaldo attends massive anti-government protest in São Paulo today, wearing a shirt that reads “It’s not my fault, I voted for Aécio.” (A culpa não é minha. Eu votei para Aécio.) Photo: Agência Estado
I honestly tried, but there are some really sick moves from Messi here:
THIS IS WHY MESSI IS CONSIDERED AMONG THE BEST EVER! Enjoy. #beINLaLiga http://t.co/0gn6U6dOQp

Looking to post at least a pic a day from this month's #braziltrip Here's a shot of the cable cars, or 'bondinhos', going up and down Sugarloaf Mountain [Pão de Açúcar].

Started to actually feel like fall here in Miami today! The Miami skyline was looking particularly nice on this breezy morning. © Hyan 2014
"The Desk"
...In All Her Glory Behind the scenes at CBS Miami
During my time at the University of Miami, putting together this half documentary half narrative film was one of the best experiences I went through. This film is short--just under 5 minutes. But in that time it goes through an exploration of the power of imagination through David Leal, a man whose creativity releases him from the shackles of muscular dystrophy. Done in Professor Ali Habashi's Film Production class at the University of Miami, Spring '14. The idea was to start with a documentary and move into narrative; the final product was meant to draw from the style of Terrence Malick. To top that all off, it screened at the 2014 'Canes Film Festival You can read more about the making of the film and get a look behind the scenes here Producer: Hyan Freitas ((me)) Director: Nicholas Penny Writer/Editor: Prerona Mukerjee Director of Photography: Josh Picus Cast-- Actor: Role David Leal: As himself Corinne Nicholson: As herself John Paul Cruz: Young David Leal: Nanette Cruz: David Leal's Mother Gabriel Cruz: David Leal's Brother Richard Lewis: David

A little help from the ref here, a little help from a hand there…it’s the world cup and we all come out winning!
Getting hyped for the World Cup thanks to Brazilian artist Cristiano Siqueira, who designed these posters for ESPN featuring the nicknames of each of the 32 teams competing. Here are the two teams I'm rooting for! For more on the artist, visit: http://www.crisvector.com/1/about/
Don't know much about Justin Bieber, but he apparently has strong feelings about college radio schedules...
Well put:

It's the solemn anniversary of the 2010 Haitian earthquake. What happened there spurred so many to act in a humanitarian way. I saw that firsthand as a South Florida resident. South Florida, of course, is a region with a significant Haitian population. On WVUM, I recently got a chance to take a look back at what happened, what was done to help and what has yet to be done. Take a listen to my interview with author Jonathan Katz, who wrote the definitive book analyzing the aid that went to Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Just realized that this video shot by my friend Taylor and edited by myself has racked up a few thousand views! Nothing we did though; it's all due to the raw talent of our subject. This was for our local Live Sessions series for Distraction Magazine More here
New addition to the family! (yellow lovebird). Idea was to get a spouse for our original family bird. Seems like love at first sight?
