also I the way the author tried to pass off Cam’s bl*eding after the office scene as ‘oh it’s just her period’ like, no that’s literally not how periods work??? There is not a fucking (TW: graphic descriptions of blood) puddle of blood when you have your period unless you sit on the ground and don’t move for several days.

That scene should have stopped the minute Cam started saying ‘it hurts’, ESPECIALLY since they don’t have a safeword (which is also super problematic).

okay but also the scene where zina watches them have sex??? and cam not stopping it and she ends up making it a challenge between her and zina. fred did very much not consent to voyeurism and cam literally never ends up telling him that she literally made eye contact with zina while they were having sex and she kept fred going because she wanted zina to listen to him moan and scream cam’s name. like excuse me?? that’s a little too much for me.

her characterization of George is just trash as well and the inconsistency in his plot line just makes no sense to me. he goes from being completely under Zina’s power to the point where he refuses to talk to members of his family and he abandons fred and the work shop for a period of several weeks to literally cheating on her on a consistent basis without a care in the world

I totally forgot about that scene but omfg that is so fucked up in so many ways. Like the whole ‘power struggle’ that Zina and Cam have for Fred is already fucked up, and if she were trying to portray a healthy relationship, she would have Cam talk to Fred about her fears. The fact that Cam didn’t tell Fred that her boggart was of him saying he didn’t need her and wanted Zina instead shows how deep her problems go.

literally her portrayal of any of the characters makes no sense at all. How nobody went after George when Zina’s manipulation was revealed. Her being severely homophobic to George was swept under the rug. And how both the twins have been manipulated and abused so much and are getting no sympathy from anyone???? what the fuck. The fact that after it was shown that Hermione was in mortal danger at the cabin, and when Molly, Arthur, and Neville came to rescue them, and no one could fucking remember what happened except for Zina and they just. didn’t question it????? They have no clue who Zina is, but they’ll trust her. what?!

that cabin scene pissed me off so much!! like Fleur told Molly all about Zina and her power and how she shouldn’t be trusted and then they show up at the cabin with people either injured or unable to remember what happened and they just took her word for it.

like at one point all the girls + fleur and Molly were trash talking zina and then all of a sudden cam is like: zina is my friend!!! and no one questions that??
