Space Jam is scientifically proven to be the best movie to watch with someone who you’re not sure whether or not anything is going to happen with.

Everyone loves Space Jam, so of course they’re gonna want to watch it, and if they don’t, you’ve saved yourself the trouble of giving of yourself to a soulless monster.

If they do want to hook up but would find just “come watch a movie” too forward, a specific movie can make that more comfortable, especially if that movie features Michael Jordan and Bill Murray helping the Looney Tunes fight aliens.

It’s wild short. So if you make a move and the other person’s not feeling it, even if that makes it somewhat awkward, you’re not sitting there for another three hours.

Everyone’s seen it. So if things do work out, the other person’s not going to be like, “Wait, hold up, hold up, I gotta see if Bugs Bunny and them actually get the NBA players their talent back.”

Space Jam is a classic film that swept the 1997 Academy Awards, so even if things go pear-shaped, you still get to watch Space Jam.

All single people should own a copy of Space Jam on DVD.
