Lucas definitely noticed the way Alma was walking, and he offered a sympathetic smile. He would’ve offered to switch shoes only if he knew how to walk in heels and his own shoes weren’t so disgusting from running. Though, it wouldn’t be nice of him to ignore it, either, he knew. “Sorry about your feet,” He said, “If they hurt a lot, I could probably run to the nearest shop or something and pick you up sandals or flip-flops.”

Alma laughed "Oh no it's okay it's my fault for wearing them to work today. I probably should have worn some more practical shoes" She bent down and readjusted the back of one of her heels to a more comfortable position. "There it's all better" she said with a smile. Now that she knew that Lucas had noticed her pain she felt a little better and didn't hide the slight wince "So what do you do with yourself besides running?"

Why are the supermarket shelves so high? Do they not think about the little people?

They definitely don't think about us at all, I've had to ask complete strangers if they can help me reach something from the shelf!

"No, no. It’s really fine. I should’ve been more careful with the whole…running business." Lucas chuckled, and shook her hand quickly. "Lucas. It’s very nice to meet you." He smiled, and watched the sky for a few moments before thinking about her offer and giving a small nod. "That sounds fine. I was almost done with the workout, anyway. Bit of extra oxygen and rest would be lovely."

She smiled at him "It's a pleasure to meet you too Lucas" she shifted from foot to foot for a moment while wondering if she was being completely ridiculous for inviting a stranger to sit with her but he seemed nice so she decided it was okay. "Shall we then?" Alma gestured toward the park her heels were still digging into her feet but it was only a short walk to the bench so she walked a little quicker trying to ignore the pain.

Another Day in the Office || Dylan & Alma

"Well, I suppose we can do this whenever you want…" He smiled and closed the door after she entered the car. Leaving the FBI now was probably the most selfish thing to do, but hey, he deperately needed a break. That kind of break, with Alma. He entered the car and looked at her, “You know, we can do it here, if  you don’t wanna wait.” He smiled while turning on the car.

"I would like that" she said with a smile leaning in a little closer to him so that they were only inches apart. Her smile widened at his suggestion "That would be fun.." she trailed off and put her lips against his softly she placed her free hand on his cheek and deepened the kiss. Alma pulled back suddenly "But wait, aren't we going to be seen or something?"

Though things were still hectic, what with the press and the case still on full-force and whatnot, Lucas still liked to take his time working out and clearing his head. Today, luckily for him, was his cardio day, and he was jogging along the park, up the street, music blasting in his ears. The distraction proved to be a bit much, though, and he ran into a smaller figure on the street. He didn’t fall down, but he did take a few surprised steps back. “Oh - jeez, sorry - I’m sorry. I wasn’t looking properly, either.” At her comment, though, he turned his head and watched the sunset for a moment as he caught his breath. “Yeah, it does look lovely today.”

Alma smiled "You don't have to apologize it was my fault anyway for stopping in the middle of the path" she paused for a moment not really knowing what to say she felt terrible about what she had done "I'm Alma by the way" she said and held her hand out for him to shake. She took a quick glance back at the horizon the colors had slowly started to fade and patterns in the sky had become more like soft swirls."I guess I should get going.. unless you wanted to join me in the park over there? I was just going to sit and watch it from the bench."

Alma wandered down the street after an extremely long day, her feet was beginning to ache in her high heels. She couldn't wait to get home kick them off and collapse on the couch for the night. She turned down the street and then she saw it a beautiful sunset was on the horizon. Pink and gold were smeared across the sky in vibrant patterns. Alma stopped walking abruptly and someone ran into her. "Oh! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to stop so suddenly. The sunset was too beautiful to miss"

Another Day in the Office || Dylan & Alma

When she slowed down her pace Dylan thought she was going to give up and come back to the office, but he was glad she didn’t. When they got outside the building, Dylan walked faster, holding Alma’s hand, getting away from the FBI as fast as he could so no one find them leaving. It probably wouldn’t happen now, they were outside, but it didn’t matter. Dylan didn’t want to stay there any longer. They — finally — got to the car and he opened the door for her. Nothing would stop them now anyway. He smiled and looked at her, “Yep… let’s go.” He said indicating the car door, waiting for her to get in.

She smiled when he opened the car door for her "I'm getting a lot of special treatment today.. I think we should do this more often" She slid into the passenger seat of his car and began to do up her seatbelt while she waited for him for get in the car. She twisted the mirror toward  quickly checked her appearance in the mirror making  sure that she still looked okay. Satisfied, she ran an hand through her hair to smooth it down as Dylan entered the car.

Another Day in the Office || Dylan & Alma

Dylan didn’t realize he was looking at Alma, with a stupid smile on his face until she called him. He followed her, without even looking around to check for someone who could find them leaving. “Alright, come on.” Dylan put his arm around her shoulder and folloed her down the hall.

She smiled when he put his arm around her shoulder. Alma slowed down her pace a little realizing how long it had been since she had actually just spent time with Dylan. With them both working all the time it hardly left any time for them to ever do anything together and she wanted to enjoy this time that they had right now. As they neared the front doors she grinned "Let's go" she grabbed his hand as they headed toward the car.

"I will." He laughed and folloewd her to the door. They could only hope everyone would be too busy with the case to notice them leaving the office, and it was probably the situation outside. But Dylan wasn’t actually worried about someone making him go back to work, no one could stop him leaving, he needed to get out of there, no matter what could happen to him.

Alma opened the door quietly as if it even squeaked a little bit everyone would find out that they were leaving. She poked her head out "I can't see anyone" she said with a laugh "I think we can go" She pushed the door open a little more so that they could step out of the office. Alma started to walk down the hall before she realised that Dylan wasn't following her. "Come on" she said with a giggle.
