I remember thinking back then (I’ve been around for that long too...) that the meditation in your yoga video was inspired by Vipassana principles. I don’t know if you’re familiar with that, but whoever was asking might be interested to know about it. It’s the most scientifically understood meditation technique, but it’s no joke...
I am not super familiar with Vipassana but the teacher who led the DVD classes is into meditation and has done tons of retreats and week-long silent sits, etc.
Meditation is like one of those thing I think, Oh, that would be nice, but never do on my own.
