Annnnnddd that's a wrap for Hermit a day May! Thanks for coming along with me on this journey, I certainly had a fun time with all the prompts I ended up doing. Initially I was just going to do the bonus days, but I ended up doing all the ladies(and cleo) as well! Thanks to the Hermit-a-Day team for organizing up such a fun event! Also shout out to the anount of work the mods put in maki g sure they got as many s they could with their fun complements. It really stretched me and made me actually think a lot about my style, something I've been working on for a long long time. It also sratched the art block itch, which is super nice. I also liked dipping my toes into the fanart scene a little more. Everyone go check out the charity page too! I wish I could have donated, but it was such a last minute thing that I didn't budget for it.
This also is the last normal post you'll see from me for a while. I'm going on a trip with limited wifi access, so any more art posts you'll see are scheduled out for the foreseeable future. Right now I'm looking at only one post a month, maybe a few more.

Here's my take on Zombie Cleo, tbh I think i put more effort into this one than any of the other ones

Big fan of the idea that Cleo just replaces old flesh with new flesh, similar to a skin graft, which is why she has no stitches (most of the time). Current phase is brand new grafts.
Sketch! And fun little tidbit, whenever I full color something i like to take a photo of all the colors that went into it, so heres the mass amounts of color for this one, too.

Fun little detail I want to point out, not sure if you can tell, is her hair actually gets darker and closer to a truer red the further down the braid it goes (bad photo skills, but it actually looks burnt out at the end) i had a lot of fun coloring this hair.
Attempted to build a fraction of the Dungeon controll room from my Decked Out AU (that exists only in my mind) in minecraft!
This would be where the dungeon supervisors, none other than the ZITS crew (headed by Dungeon Master Tango ofc) monitor the dungeon and the participants.

I've had this cooking up in my brain for a few months, basically its a Decked Out Au, sort of like the hunger games, but mixed a little with the premise of Willy Wonkas chocolate factory (mostly the original movie). There's less death than the hunger games, but also little less whimsy than the chocolate factory
The patches of concrete powder and various redstone bits represent screens you can see into the dungeon with, and an control console. The hanging signs would have the contestants names on them, and the color is their vitals status, like, good or bad condition.
The wall with all the heads and paintings and other signs is for information on all the people who are in the dungeon, and the map in the corner would actually be a map of the actual dungeon and Ice Citedel
Tbh this control room crew is about as far as I've gotten in this au, there are not many other characters involved yet. The only other detail that is set is that at some point, for some reason or another, impulse ends up in the dungeon.

Drew this on a tiny whiteboard at my grandmother's house, once again terrible lighting. (Zed not pictured because he didn't fit).
Honestly, for a shoddy whiteboard this turned out pretty good. I also on the spot decided that being around so much glitchy, old technology for the whole season rubbed off on impulse and he now permanently has a little bit of a glitch to him(as an explanation of what is going on with him).
For today, I chose detective Joel from season 10. I was quite invested in the storyline and am still a little sad we never got to see how it played out
