25 hours of my life were wasted. I spent a long time making the animation, but I deleted the files for it irrevocably. I was stupid, but I'm not going to redo this animation. I'm tired.
Part 0. Prologue
Everything started going downhill from this point.

Author’s note: I worked on this for a long time. I don’t like everything about it, but this mini-comic is important for the context going forward.
Part 5. Vivisection
A storm was slowly but surely beginning to build in the world. Tsunade was firing off letters to the Kazekage, asking for assistance in the investigation. Naruto was in the hospital undergoing rehabilitation, unwilling to see anyone. Only the fox kept nagging at him. ANBU were combing the surrounding areas in search of clues…
Pain wasn’t sitting idle either. Rather, he delegated responsibility efficiently. After gathering the Akatsuki in Amegakure, he assigned everyone a task — Sasori included. For some reason, Pain decided he would be perfect for the role of a pathologist. Sasori didn’t know what was going through Pain’s mind, but he accepted it. Besides, the work actually suited him. No fuss and no eternally noisy partner…
***
The Second Incident fell on his shoulders. Repeat offender and opposition member Kime Ryoka left Amegakure at night and was found brutally torn apart in a forest strip. The key piece of evidence was her hand: clumps of already-hardened black liquid had accumulated under her fingernails. The analysis conducted by Sasori showed that the substance found in the Kajima family’s bodies and the substance under her nails were identical.
It was someone’s blood. Blood that wasn’t human. Human blood doesn’t look like congealed darkness.
The longer Sasori worked, the worse he felt. His puppet body hadn’t experienced such fatigue in a long time. To make matters worse, his head started aching again, and his Chakra Circulation System malfunctioned from prolonged contact with the substance.

Part 4. The Zero Incident
Here is the reason for Pain’s concern.
Kojima Soma. The academy teachers had little to say about this boy. Quiet, non-confrontational. The only notable traits were excessive melancholy and restlessness. He didn’t befriend anyone and always left classes like a silent shadow. His family seemed respectable. But behind closed doors…
Soma was their disgrace. What was it like to have a son who didn’t want to be a shinobi?
The family was found dead on January 14. The father and mother lay on the kitchen table. They had been hastily opened up and filled to the brim with a black substance. Their son was buried in a small grave in the backyard. He looked almost serene and happy.
Pain could endure many things, and he often looked upon horrors without disgust — but that day, his nerves finally gave out.

Don't read too much into this. I just drew it for fun. The next part is still being drawn. For now, here's Wick.
Part 3. The Verdict
The ANBU report stolen from Konoha ended up in the hands of the Akatsuki. Why? That’s still unclear. None of this is happening without reason.
Pain decided to suspend Akatsuki’s activities and called for a general assembly in Amegakure. There was a good reason for it. Not everyone was pleased with this decision.

Part 2. The Night Visitor
When it comes to work, Tsunade is extremely responsible. After receiving a letter from Jiraiya, she immediately dispatched ANBU to the crime scene. She received their report later that same evening. The puzzle in her head didn’t come together — there were too many oddities in the case. This was especially true for the youngest victims: they looked almost blissful. There were no signs of a struggle. And the procedure performed on them had clearly been done carefully — at least far more carefully than on the adults. What intrigued the Fifth Hokage even more was the composition of the black liquid found in the bodies.
The trouble was only beginning. An unknown intruder broke into the archives and stole the report. Who could bypass security so professionally and avoid being detected by the sensors? Of course — Zetsu.

I solved the problem of my dislike for Naruto’s design by simplifying it as much as possible.
This is a small, plot-adjacent illustration for the story. The events always begin with Naruto returning to Konoha. It’s from this moment that the oddities start. And the deaths.
Part 1. The Point of Origin.
January 16. On the mainland, winter is the warm season. Naruto is returning to Konoha after three years of training. He and Jiraiya parted ways along the road, but the jinchūriki planned to meet him in a small торговый town along the way.
After renting a room for the night, Naruto struck up a conversation with the innkeeper and learned troubling details about the past few days. Several people had gone missing. The townsfolk were especially worried about two shinobi sent from Konoha to guard and patrol the walls, as well as a missing genin. Naruto studied the wanted notices and posters for a long time, but no — he hadn’t seen any of them. He went to sleep with heavy thoughts.
In the morning, he met Jiraiya — though not under the circumstances he would have preferred.
The missing had been found. All six of them. The bodies were discovered in the basement of a utility wing of the local hospital. Two of the victims were children. They had been operated on.
Jiraiya immediately compiled a report for Tsunade and sent it to Konoha. Another crucial detail: there was a chemical hazard at the scene. From the mouths, eyes, ears… from everywhere, a black substance seeped from the corpses. Contact with it — even its fumes — caused disruptions in chakra circulation. From that day on, everything began.
Lately, I’ve had a lot of sketches piling up. I decided to clean one up a bit and add some stylization, since I can’t manage a fully rendered piece right now.
It’s something like an illustration for the fanfic I’m currently writing. Night, an open field, and Raum (one of his forms) with Lurker.
Azazel: Where the hell are we?!
Sparrow: *Chaotic Skykid noises*
Yesterday I saw a play based on the book "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." It was staged by students. It was amazing. The guys acted very well, and I even liked some of their delivery ideas. But I felt physically ill watching it. I felt terribly uncomfortable towards the middle. And by the end, I burst into tears. I believe the best reward for an actor's heart is the audience's tears. It was wonderful.

I have a problem. I want to draw an illustration for the new canon, but… Naruto, Tsunade, and Jiraiya play a huge role in it… And I don't want to draw them! I don't find them interesting as characters, and they're not aesthetically appealing! I can write about them in text, but drawing them… Naruto is such a boring character :_(
I wanted to draw something depressing... Larra, alcohol, and dark thoughts.
I… don’t know. It’s just a meme from Pinterest.
So, since I’ve finished the concept arts and started working on the “script” (though I’d rather call it an attempt to give the story a coherent shape), I’ll probably have some fun making little minicomics and shitposts for a while. Why not, right?
I spent several days working on this piece — that’s why I’ve been absent. Sorry about that.
By the way, I recently returned to Sky, and it rekindled memories of another reality that was once loosely tied to the lore — originally as a joke. But now that joke has gotten out of hand and become part of the Crowhel universe.
I find it kind of endearing that a world like The Realm of the Seven Celestial Kingdoms contrasts so sharply with the shinobi world that, compared to the Skykids or the spirits who dwell there, every human being seems like a complete moral degenerate.
A few notes about the Skykids:
🌟 Skykids are beings made of clay and light. Gender and age are mere conventions for them. However, they don’t grow — their level of consciousness remains constant. They are eternal children.
🌟 Skykids are peaceful and always loyal to humans. They pose no threat to anyone.
🌟 Skykids have no true names — only nicknames they give to one another.
🌟 They don’t have visible pockets or bags. Instead, a precious gemstone glows on their chest, radiating pure light. Whenever they hold wax candles in their hands, the gemstone disappears.
🌟 Their masks can be removed, but their faces are completely flat. Their eyes are holes from which light pours, and their mouths only appear in certain moments.
🌟 Skykids can fly, aided by their cloaks and their replenishable, expendable Light.
🌟 If you try to cut a Skykid open, you’ll go blind from the brilliance of their inner light — though the Skykid will eventually regenerate.
🌟 Pure light, when it enters a human body, burns out the chakra pathways — but the person survives.
🌟 Skykids are capable of sharing their light.
The Skykids shown in this artwork are alternate versions of the Akatsuki: Coin , Sparrow, Ginger, Lilya, Yasya, Koi, Wick, Feather, and Krill.
The Celestial Kingdoms cannot be corrupted by chakra, since the Chakra Tree cannot grow there — there’s no soil at all. The kingdoms themselves are made of unknown matter and clouds.
I think that’s all I can say about them for now — for now.
