He is a military man, through and through; some may even call him a perfect soldier.

On August 6th, the new successor group to the TF-BOYS was announced: TT-BOYS.

And while they may look a lot like Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Wang Chuqin, we assure you, that this is not only the case,

but that they are indeed the people in the pictures.

No, that can only be achieved through photoshop, something that most Chinese girls and some of the boys are well versed in. In today's social-media-heavy time, photoshopping has more or less become a must-have skill. But in order to achieve the level of mastery, that the Chinese possess, one has to be dedicated to the craft and spend a lot of time honing their photoshopping skills.

People have long upgraded from simply using photoshop to make their legs seem longer or gift themselves an eightpack, no, nowadays you'll never be able to guess what people are actually photoshopping (with simply just a few APPs on their mobile phones....):

Don't know if you guys have already heard of it or not, but people in China have begun to speak of a certain "happy family of three":

Yeah, "Lele's (that means Pan Zhanle's) family", consisting of Lele's Dad, a.k.a Sun Yang, and Lele's Mom, a.k.a Wang Shun.

"How did it come to this?" well,

1. OGG (= Olympic Games Gold) Sun Yang, Wang Shun and Pan Zhanle are the only three olympic gold medalists 🥇 on the Chinese men's swimming team (for now). So as far as their abilities are concerned (and because of the OGG exclusivity), they "form a unit/family".

2. Pan Zhanle's Idol

watched A Few Good Men on the weekend, and now I cannot get this idea of a NCIS AFewGoodMenAU! outta my head.

Just imagine:

Tony DiNozzo as LTJG Daniel Kaffee (the name - as well as the pronunciation (or more like simply just because of the pronunciation) - still cracks me up; where you at, fellow German speakers XD)

our dearest Caitlin Todd as Demi Moore's LCDR Joanne Galloway (they somehow are both soooo straitlaced).

aaand Timothy McGee..... Weinberg? Loved the latter one's absolutely dry humor. the sass - chef's kiss.

But the most important of all: LJ Gibbs.

Here I am not that sure. There are multiple roles that the character could very well fit into.

For instance the one of 1stLt Jonathan James Kendrick. Maybe even the role of CPT Jack Ross.

Or perhaps, as it is an AU, Gibbs can simply be Gibbs. And do his Gibbs things. Or perhaps, Gibbs can take the role of LCDR Galloway, and KatieKate can play babysitter (in the movie also known as Weinberg).

And perhaps a splash and a sprinkle of Tibbs here and there in the storyline would be quite nice as well.

this admiration lot directs toward bors mirrors the regard gawain holds lancelot in for the majority of the story, even on his deathbed when lancelot is guilty of murdering his brothers, sons of lot, and is partly responsible (at least according to gawain) for gawain's own fatal injuries: "Unto Sir Launcelot, flower of all noble knights that ever I heard of or saw by my days, I, Sir Gawaine, King Lot's son of Orkney . . . send thee greeting . . . this same day that I wrote this cedle, I was hurt to the death in the same wound, the which I had of thy hand, Sir Launcelot; for of a more nobler man might I not be slain.")

so now i'm thinking about how lancelot and gawain strive so hard not to have geographical, political, familial tensions get in the way of their relationship, but by the end of the narrative, they find their positions mirror that of their parents/ancestors.

This Epic Chinese movie is basically a story about a bunch of men (or more like 800 + 1 men) struggling with their severe daddy issues.

But honestly: It's great. Go watch it. And don't whine about that they coulda explained the circumstances/background better and all that. Guess how Chinese people feel, when they sit through a movie about King Arthur.

Things that go thru my head late at night when the moon shines very brightly and the stars twinkle

Okay... so, I've got a dilemma. Last week, I've been on the hunt for potential Christmas gifts for family and friends, and while working my way down the aisles, I spotted a King Arthur/Camelot-themed cardboard game. And of course it immediately derailed me from my mission, but yeah. Now I have a game, which needs at least two people according to the description. Well, I have decided to romp my lil' sister in. Problem? She has no clue, absolutely no clue, about anything arthurian. And she does not want to read my three and more books about King Arthur and his knights. As they, apparently, are not the kind of literature she enjoys reading.

But she did say, that she may be willing to look through a summarized version of the arthurian lore. Hah. Summarized.

And while debating my lack of luck regarding the existence of just one single sibling with totally different interests, I kinda somehow came to think that you could actually perhaps cover the majority of the Arthurian legend and stories if you concentrate on Gawain and Lancelot's storylines. Because somehow, they actually stand in the centre of everything.

I don't know if that made any sense. Maybe it's also my lack of sleep taking overhand. Or I just shat my brains out.

Edit: Thinking of it, I would love a retelling of the Arthur saga, centered on Gawain and Lancelot. And whatever you make of their relationship.
