The Facility is a critically important part here. See it’s a Science Facility. It’s run by a very shady clandestine organization, which is incredibly powerful. They’re maybe part of the government, or if not the government then something Illuminati-like.

As such The Facility is very high tech, and likely buried underground or hidden somewhere no normal person can access. The Torture being done is for Science, which the Facility is for. It’s all scientists in lab coats doing the torture. There is so much lab equipment and probably a lot of devices hooked up to the special character which will beep and go off the charts when the special character has a violent mind explosion. This part is important.

cookie run is the funniest fucking game ever cause what do you mean theres a character whos whole thing is that shes a girlfailure ghost hunter livestreamer. girl literally says 'im sorry chat.' her ability that you play IN GAME has you take photos of ghosts, and then those photos show up as fake youtube thumbnails complete with random ass emojis, red circles and arrows. AND theres a twitch chat overlay in the corner. PLUS she canonically smells so bad ghosts run away from her. she's doing all this for a grand total of 10 subscribers btw

Nothing screams y2k cybercore tech and item design than blobjects, all of these items were originally released to the public around the turn of the millennium and it definitely shows.

I love the unique style and how the theme was just make it look round and bulky, I would’ve added interior design but I figured that deserves its own post tbh.
