Hey guys,

So I while back I was in a real bad place. Like real bad. I don't like to dwell on it, but I found this in one of my old sketchbooks and thought it was important to share with you. The assignment for my painting class was to work in the style of a famous artist. I chose Edvard Munch ("The Scream" is one of his many works). This sketch was a draft for the painting, which I may still have lying around somewhere.

I just want to say thank you for letting me share this moment with you and that life gets better. You move on, you go places, you meet people.

You make friends. You goof off and drag them places. You go get your hair dyed crazy colors together. You owe each other milkshakes. You get each other to do things and try things (and try on things) that neither one of you would do on your own. You give each other rides and have the character building experience of getting caught in crazy 2 hour traffic and not caring cause you can just sing terribly along to the radio. You have someone to cry and laugh with (sometimes at the same time). You make each other better.

Just remember to hang on in there, life is a wonderful and bizarre experience. Know you will get through the rough parts and meet some interesting and amazing people along the way.

Hi Everyone!

This is a quick piece of concept art for a game I'm trying to force Dev to make!

As you may have noticed she doesn't have any legs, she's a ghost- so I'm going with that as an excuse. She's just wearing a really long skirt because it was the fashion at the time (1950's). 

If any of you have name suggestions that would be incredibly awesome. I would say you'd become even more awesome but I'm not sure that's possible. Anyways, thanks again for everything you guys. I mean it.

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday! I'm so happy that the henna I ordered arrived in time! 

The entire time I was putting this on, "This is Halloween" was going through my head. 

The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of the best movies of all time. It's a Tim Burton, from when he was a creative genius and not just out of his mind.

I think I'm going to go watch it now... and learn to draw turkeys and cornucopias.

Hello Hello Everyone!

Life has been crazy exciting and crazy busy! (not to mention crazy crazy... I guess I did just mention it... whoops). Anyways, most of the craziness has been school related so I haven't really had much time to post. I would say draw but that's a lie... On a wholly, hehem, unrelated note- I've just found a new way to make math interesting. 

God, I can feel Dev's disapproval from all the way over here. Hi Dev! you fabulous dork.

Well, here's a wand I made for the absolutely amazing mustbebunnies! I'm so glad you liked it dear! It's made with love, sweat, and tears (the tears mainly from the hot glue... ouch). This nearly indestructible wand has a wooden core to (borrowing a phrase from a great man), make it so. I also used acrylic paint, gold leaf, and a lot of ice. Ouch again. 

It took a couple hours to make (making the base, creating a design, hating said design, making a new design, taking several tries to get the design to work, adding dimensions, getting burnt with hot glue, swearing in several languages and making up a few new ones, mixing paint, adding magic, etc. etc...) You know, the usual. I'm very, very happy with the way it turned out. If I didn't love you mustbebunnies I would start thinking of elder wanding it back. Jk- Rowling! (see what I did there?!) I could never my sweet Hufflepuff friend. Thank you for FINDING the time to let me snap a few pictures on your wonderful counter. I'm glad you like it too.

Dev and I are still working through all the paperwork and legal jargon but if you'd like a wand please contact us (either through tumblr or at [email protected]) and we'll work something out. We unbreakably vow that to you! Right now Dev's shaking her head, I know it. I love you too sweetheart!

What's more fun than sketching? Playing with watercolors!!! So I got some of those watercolor postcards and I've been painting and sending them off to some of my friends :)

Gesture sketching is a great way to warm up so make sure to do it a lot! :3

Do not try to write everything about your subject. All subjects are inexhaustible. If you try to write on every aspect of your subject, you will ramble. You will get lost in the writing, your wastebasket will overflow, and you will become a crazy person.

To get said business account we need a business license,

To keep people from spamming us we need a P.O. box (you need a address for the business license, it will be publicly accessible)

To make money to pay for this Dev and I need to make some money off our art,

I'm guessing you get the dizzying picture (I think I might have vertigo)

Anyways, Dev and I are going to be selling our art in person to try to raise the funds (i.e shameless promotion and very kindly exploiting friends). DEV THIS MEANS YOU HAVE TO MAKE SOME NEW FRIENDS AT COLLEGE...

Hehem, I think I may have had something in my keyboard there.
