Likewise, Alumi was very confused. Who was this little turtle that had been following her this entire time? At least the little guy didn’t actually seem all that harmful, right?

“I’m Alumi,” she began to introduce. “It’s nice to meet you, Junior~!” The name alone, Junior, sounded good to her. The “Bowser” part just didn’t resonate well with her. Secretly, she thought maybe that Junior turtle was actually super adorable too…

“Alumi? What a cute name…” Junior said, smiling amusedly. “Um… Sorry for the question, but… what are you?” the koopa prince asked. “Are you a pokemon? You kinda look a bit like one… Are you lost? Sorry if I ask too many questions…”

“T-Thank you-nanora!” Alumi exclaimed as she started “blushing”(?) at that compliment (and even then that’s not a first). Seems a bit awkward that she was called a pokemon since---wait. What was a pokemon anyway? Even though she has a very apparent wind-up key on her back, how did he not realize she was a robot, especially since he had been following her earlier?

She had probably as many questions as Junior, but needed to try going one or two at a time, just to not throw out much at one time.

“What’s a ‘pokemon’? Some kind of animal or something-ro?” she asked. She didn’t know if she wanted to straight-up mention her being a robot, considering that Junior might actually be aware and was just looking for a response out of Alumi.

The noise from behind caught Alumi’s attention, and turned around to see some kind of turtle-like animal…thing… He must have been trying to keep track of her, which she was alarmed by.

However, she was more curious than panicked right now.

“H-Hello-nanora…?” she carefully greeted. The spikes on the turtle must have caught her a bit off guard, and she was afraid that it would try to hurt her.

“!!! It talked!” Junior said, gasping and looking puzzled at Alumi. “H-hi! I-I’m Bowser Junior! W-who are you?” the koopa prince asked, looking curiously at the one in front of him.

It was finally that time of the year again: the summer festival! It had just opened to the public for its duration, and Alumi was excited…a little too much, perhaps. She didn’t pay attention to her surroundings as she rushed to it, and before she knew it, she felt something and fell to the ground.

…

When she finally became aware, she looked up to a rather young girl making sure she was okay. The girl looked like a very nice person, thankfully.

“Oh! I’m perfectly okay-nora!” she exclaimed to the girl. Well, of course she was perfectly okay, since this was a sort of advantage to being a robot. But she paused after that, not really sure how to continue with a conversation.

“Hmm? W-what’s that?” Junior said out loud when looking at some sort of strange… pokemon? Wait, no… that was no pokemon… Was it? The curious prince quietly followed the little creature, wondering what was it.

♋ The peach scented boy gently tossed a plush panda to the tiny robot. Then he heads off to, some direction away from the ufo catcher.

Oh? For Alumi, this was completely unexpected, as she did not know the boy. Knowing the robot she is, she would have probably tried to introduce herself, but considering that he had already walked away, there was nothing to do but look at the plush panda.

“Well this is really cute-nanora…”

And without hesitation, she picked it up and hugged it, noticing how fluffy it was. She wanted to thank the boy who gave it to her…if only she was quick enough to catch the direction he had gone off in.
