"Hello! Could you tell me where I am?"
"Well," Connor pulled the cigarette from his lips and held it nestled between his index and middle finger. "Missy, yer just outside of McGinty's. Unless yer referrin' to bein' in Boston--then yer in Boston."

I would just like to take a second to say that sortalike7-eleven is the most amazing person ever.
You are absolutely fantastic and I'll be forever yours, faithfully. Like seriously, every time I read one of their rps I can actually see Murphy doing and saying everything they write. They're perfect and I'm so glad they give me the time of day-- well gave me the time of day.
My deepest apologies for having disappeared. College and work made me super busy. But anyway, this isn't about me. It's about the fabulous Nikki whom I look up to like woah.
Stay perfect.

Destination Imagination
Laughter.
Jokes.
Conversations with himself.
A time comes in almost every child's life when they develop an imaginary friend. The friend may seem very real to their creator, but children usually understood that their imaginary friends were not real. Usually. Often the friend would take a tutelary role when played with by a child, but Connor did things a little backwards.
Nine years ago a set of twins were to be brought into the world-- but only one gasped in a breath of life and wailed into the night. Cries only to be joined by the tears of a mourning mother. Raised an only child, Connor pestered his mother often asking about his absent father or why she wouldn't talk about the day he was born. She would always wave him away and tell him to go make something of himself. "Go play or read or something." He'd hear on a daily basis.
Alone, Connor would let his imagination get the best of him. When you don't have anyone to talk to, you can always make someone to talk to. His "friend" would come to him in the form of a young boy, the same age as himself. The two were exact in height and oddly resembled one another.
A little brother. That's what he created. Someone to look after. Someone to play with. Someone to pick on. Someone to share with. Mom would yell at him anytime he talked to or about his made up brother around her. Something he thought he'd never understand.
"Wha' are we gonna do today, Murphy?" The boy asked, closing his book and placing it on his stomach. He'd taken it upon himself to read outside that morning while laying in the grass, but there's only so much reading this nine year old was willing to do before he got bored.

"I thought the answer to your question was quite obvious. Seeing as how you’re the only thing standing in front of me, and I’m looking directly at you, you’re the thing I’m staring at."
Natasha was always one for pointing out the obvious.
"Aye, alright." Connor’s lips pursed, he had to hand it to her, the answer was obvious. But the way she’d been looking at him, her eyes practically pierced right through him, "Can I help you wi’h somethin’?"
She had been trained by the best in her field. She could read a person like words on paper, and the story of the man in front of her was most interesting.
Natasha shrugged, “the answers to life seem like a good place to start.”
Eyes squinted and brows furrowed. Cocking his head to the side, Connor repeated her words, "The answers to life?" What was she getting at-- was this some kind of weird test?
"Tha's some pretty heavy shit you're askin' 'bout." He straightened out his posture, trying to make sense of why she'd try to start there. Who was she? Russian, but not part of the Russina Mafia. His eyes darted over her form, was she armed-- maybe she's a threat. Connor kept his guard up, something he planned to do until he knew more about the woman before him.
