I have been cold to people, then I become the enemy. All I can do at that point is ask for forgiveness, and love those who hurt me, even if they don’t want it or if I have to stay away. I find myself apologizing for things that don’t even make sense to people, but I have to address my character for every little thing, because I have been forgiven for every little thing by my savior. I’m far from perfect, but I can tell you that surrendering to Christ is the best choice I can make every time. I don’t even feel worthy to speak about God sometimes, because he’s so good, and sometimes I’m so evil. I want his love and righteousness to take over my hate and resentful actions. I want a heart that loves correction instead of despising it. I haven’t completely surrendered, so I only speak of the little I’ve learned. I’m breaking in the best way. I don’t want people to see my ugliness anymore. Compared to God’s love, my love is garbage. I want to lean on the hope he gives and his promises to those who turn away from evil and walk with him. I’m not perfect. But if anyone can get just a taste of who God really is through me, let it happen, and let them be better than me. Far, far better. This photo may just look like entertainment, but it’s a day of significance for me.
